My first time using care.com we had a phone interview. That went well. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. Then we scheduled a walk through at my house. She was very pleasant and professional. Very reasonable with the price she charged. I would use care.com again.

Do not waste any money or time with care.com. The individuals who did apply, which were very few, had poor qualifications. The couple I did want to interview, I didn’t hear back from them. The only one I was able to schedule an interview with didn’t even make it into my home. She walked up to my front door, saw my cat, and said she was allergic and left. I had put in the ad that you had to be comfortable with pets! Of course, they have a no refund policy. You would do just as well on Facebook Marketplace .

confusing, lousy website related to absolutely no real person customer service!!! Your software does not allow a user who moves to a new address, to then receive caregivers from within their new address===> instead we get old address caregivers who are clueless of my new address & your software puts that problem on me to correct your software. NOW YOU HAVE MY 60 DOLLARS AND YOU WILL NOT REFUND ME. CLOSE MY ACCOUNT NOW OR FIX IT I AM MDONE WITH YOUR CROOKED TRAP!!!

I’ve been a nanny using care.com for positions since 2011. I always have the most difficult time with their customer service. It is truly, incredibly awful. The live agents go around in circles and refuse any kind of refund or downgrade. Just this past week I made an accidental purchase—an upgrade for my account. My request was never actually passed on, the second agent a week later said there was nothing they could do. Which any customer knows is untrue. I keep finding that care is dishonest and unhelpful. I recommend using local groups or nanny agencies to find nanny positions and stay far away from care.
