Applicant's often don't read posting
My biggest frustration with Care.com is that applicant's often don't read the posting. We were clear. 1) female only and yet several men applied. 2)Job located in Pasadena and yet applicants from over 1 hour away applied. I had to contact everyone and verify travel time. We also had several no shows for interviews. In the end, we did hire a caregiver. She hasn't started yet, so no comments on that.

SCAM
SCAM. Charged for whole month when I didn't approve purchase. Didn't give a refund. TERRIBLE customer service

Ava was great with our kids
Ava was great with our kids. She played with our kids, got them dinner, and put them to bed. Our kids really liked her and we would definitely hire her again.

Candidates Galore!
I was impressed with the seemingly endless number of qualified people, but this also cut two ways, because I spent considerable time looking at the abilities of numerous candidates. I'm not a computer expert and it would have been of considerable help to me if there were an electronic "container" where I could store the info about the standouts I wanted to consider further.

The quality of carers is very poor
The quality of carers is very poor. Not nearly enough experience with children, lie about having a license and car, and I’ve even been given references who gave horrible reviews. This is not a place to find help for people you love.
