I spoke with two customer reps, Jose and Edgar. The wall safe that came with our house is out of production. Cannon has no information on this safe in their data base. No safe keys are obtainable and no model number was available although I sent them several pictures of the safe. THEY WERE UNABLE TO HELP ME TROUBLESHOOT. tHEY WERE NO HELP AT ALL.

Absolutely terrible customer service. When your keypad fails…..and it will….. you will get the run around claiming emails not received. Then after several phone calls was told by call center that claim ticket number was not found. Funny they had two ticket numbers on same case. Will end up purchasing keypad myself I’m over the terrible responses. A simple google search shows multiple cases of keypad failure and yet still have to go through all this. Next safe will not be a cannon and definitely will not recommend them.

Well it only took 3 tickets over 3 months and multiple emails to get resolution … not an ideal situation when I have 3 kids at home and a safe full of guns that I can’t open or close without 10,10,30 attempts and sometimes not at all .. asking me to change batteries at the end was the last straw .. it wasn’t till Costco was about to return the safe that anything happened and I’m still waiting on parts … signed frustrated

The Cannon safe key pad failed after a few months. Cannon said it was battery. After 12 new batteries safe still does not work. Cannon will not even respond now. Stay away from cannon safes! Will get a new safe.

The safe worked "ok" for the first couple years but constant issues with the electronic lock not always unlocking. Back around February of this year, it wouldn't open at all, and the shaft that you turn just twisted off after applying only moderate pressure. The reason for the bad review however is the customer service absolutely sucks. I had to call them NUMEROUS times after we'd established all they needed to get the claim going. after MANY weeks of total silence from them, I'd call back to follow up, they said they needed more information. Information that I'd already given them but they'd conveniently lost. We played this game 3-4 times. They'd tell me they had everything and I'd hear nothing so weeks later I'd call and they'd say they needed this or that. Again, info I'd previously provided. First off, if you lost the info, why are they not reaching out to me. This is their whole game. I still am not able to get into my safe. I've called again yesterday, after they'd gotten a lock smith approved a few weeks back, asking when in the hell are they coming. Didn't have an answer and I was told they'd call me back today. As I suspected, not a word. I am so frustrated with the incompetence and apathy that they have shown to my situation. I have been locked out of my gun safe for nearly half a year not and they couldn't care less. My next safe will NOT be a Canon. That is for damn sure

I have three cannon safes. The lock failed on one of them. Took cannon just under a month to respond. Replaced the lock on my own and will not waste another penny on a company that uses faulty locks and doesn’t provide even basic customer support.

Do not buy a Cannon Safe as they advertise a lifetime warranty, yet they DO NOT honor the lifetime warranty and could care less based on our experience. We bought a 64 gun Cannon safe model TS-5940 in 2019 which has a lifetime warranty. In Jan 2023 we had it open, but in locked position and could not unlock it. We tried several new batteries, yet the rude Cannon rep said to keep trying for a better dated battery and would do nothing else. We could only find 2027 dates in several different store, but finally found a Mar 2028 and it opened the safe. April 13, 2023 it would not open, and Cannon sent new part but had to use their approved locksmith which cost US $508 to open and replace part. Come to find out it was a known problem that the locks failed and if the first rude Rep had given us the new part when the safe was locked in open position then we could have changed out the part and not have to pay $508. Unbelievable but the lock failed again and even a 2029 battery would not open it. All Cannon would do is send another part and we had to use their locksmith again. Because of how the locksmith fixed the first drilled hold and the type of material used, it will be much more difficult to open, and the cost will be much higher than the $508 based on the conversation with the locksmith. He was very nice and gave a few suggestions to try, but it will have to be drilled out again. So, our plan is to cut it open and trash a very expensive safe it could fail again. Do not buy Cannon as what good is a lifetime warranty if they do nothing to fix the problems and expect the consumer to pay a locksmith over and over for a known problem they have with the locks, yet they sent us the exact same lock and not even an updated one. Started Jan 2023 and ended Dec 2024 when Cannon refused to do anything

I submitted a request for assistance and got a response 17 days later asking for additional photos and a video of the issue. I replied the following day and it has been an additional 24 days with no response. Terrible.
