If I could leave zero stars, I would. I highly recommend staying away from any Cannon products. I purchased a Cannon gun safe, thinking this would be a good way to secure my belongings and valuables, unfortunately, due to the cheap components and a lack of customer service, I am locked out of my gun safe with no other option other than drilling the safe to get to my belongings. After contacting Cannon to resolve the issue, the only thing they can provide was a replacement keypad, which does no good as the safe is locked, and I need to open the safe to replace it, which requires it to be drilled making the safe, no longer usable. I highly suggest to stay away from their products to avoid the headaches I’ve been going through just trying to get my belongings.

In attempting to open the safe where the bolts were slightly jammed up due to insufficient space between the door and the first tow of rifles, my 64 year old, wheelchair-bound self managed to apply enough torque on the opening mechanism, to sheer off a weld, making the hand wheel free-spin, with the bolts still in the locked position. Now it’s a large paperweight, with about 40 inaccessible weapons in it. Yes, they have a lifetime warranty, but it’s useless if they never respond to emails or answer the phone. As an alternative, may I suggest placing the guns between your bed’s box spring and mattress? At least there, you could access them. I would have rated them a zero, but that’s not an available option.

Safe won't open. Mechanism inside has been temperamental since I have own it and now it won't open. I contacted customer service and they were about a useful as the safe mechanism. They wouldn't help me unless I paid... which BTW their warranty is supposedly lifetime. It's as garbage as their customer service is. Go with a different company and avoid these clowns like the plague.

Do not buy a safe from Cannon !!!! The brand new safe would not lock. After sending them video confirmation of my problem, they sent me a new lock mechanism, but that new lock mechanism would not lock either so they were supposed to give me permission to grind it down myself so that it would lock, but they would not tell me whether or not it would mess up my warranty …. Said they would get back to me after they asked their management…. I’ve emailed them several times with no response…still waiting on confirmation after weeks of crickets in my inbox..

The worst company I have had business dealings with. There customer service representatives constantly lied about what was going on with my claim. After approximately one month they informed me they could do nothing. The problem was the safe was not working due to a damaged door handle most likely from shipping. So as a result I will never do business with Cannon safe company or recommend them.

After sending videos and what the problem is with my safe, they are telling me it's not under warranty. They said that it only has 1 year warranty. The keypad works and the battery is fine (always an excuse). Regardless, the internal rod that slides the locks in and out is disconnected. It would be an easy fix if I could get it open and reconnect the nut that holds the component together. A friend of mine had the same issue with his Cannon.. He fixed it before it came disconnected. If you have one of these safes, I'd open that front door and make sure that you put some lock tight on that nut that hold it together, or you'll get no help from Cannon. I'm done with this company. Their warranty is not worth the paper it's written on.

I purchased my Cannon Patriot approximately 10 years ago, it arrived with a seal unattached. I overlooked this I lived overseas at the time and didn't have the time to pursue the issue. Fast forward last year I needed some paperwork stored there and asked my grand daughter to retrieve it. The combination no longer worked, upon arrival to my home I tried new batteries to no avail. I contacted Cannon and after several failed attempts the tech determined that lock was dead and needed tp be replaced. I was informed that they needed. the serial number, original receipt, model number, video of the problem and that they would send a new lock. Well I had lost the receipt (my fault) and I could not access the model number that was on the inside top right side of the locked door. I was informed that without the original receipt that I would have to pay for the lock ok, I dropped the ball there but the locked could not be ordered without the model number, even with a new lock I'd have to pay to have the safe drilled lock installed and re welded (the cost of a new safe). I will never again buy anything with the Cannon name attached
