Horrible product and customer service. Bought the safe and put my guns inside. 3 months later the safe will not open and cannon says the locking mechanism has malfunctioned and the only way to get it open is by breaking into the safe. This requires a lock smith and $400+. Cannon will not refund money or cost of braking into safe, nor will they supply the rights parts to fix it. Horrible company and products without support. Don’t waste your money on cannon products.

I purchased a Cannon ValleyForge gun safe from Academy sports about a year ago. The handle mechanism on the inside broke. I was lucky it happened when the safe door was opened and not closed. This was due to poor quality and craftsmanship on the assembly of the door handle mechanism on the inside of the safe. The locking collar was never tightened down and there is a poor tack weld holding everything together that broke. Do not buy these safes. Its not worth having it fail and you can't get your guns out without destroying the safe. The manufacture warranty will not pay for labor or packing the safe up to ship back to their facility. Then I found out they are not made in the U.S.A. Just like all StackOn products which they are affiliated with. These safes are junk. Academy shouldn't even sell them.

Do NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS . THEYRE PURE GARBAGE!

Biggest piece of crap I ever bought. The inside was completely loose and settled at the bottom of the unit when I received it. Oh and it's plain paperboard lined with velvet on the inside.

Do I have to give them a star?! Paid more to have my cannon wide body safe drilled by locksmith than the safe cost. Locksmith said cannon safes keep him in business. Cannon is sending a replacement lock but it's a cheap piece of #hit just like the other one. I'm not going to pay to have it fixed. Anyone want a slightly u safe? Under 2 years old.

The safe broke. No extra stress was put on the safe. The handle broke and came out. The warranty does not cover this per cannon. They list it as abuse. So they didn’t help with anything. Before you buy any kind of safe red the reviews. Canon has no customer service and the reviews were horrible

I bought a Canon save and have done nothing but regret the purchase! They sent me the wrong key for the door and when I tried removing the sticker from the front of the door at peeled the paint in three different areas about 4 inches long. I reached out to customer service and they were really nice however all they did was Lie to Me. I am returning the safe to the store that I bought it from as they do have a 30-day money-back guarantee and I will be upgrading to a different save maker. Do yourself a favor and never buy a Canon or a Stack-On safe same company!
