I bought the 48 gun cannon safe got it home and started putting guns in it. I started putting one of the shelves for my shorter guns just to find out the shelves barely reached the pegs and would fall off very easily. Talked to support, sent pictures and documents they needed. Took a couple months and got the new shelves and they were the exact same size as the ones that doesn't fit right. Emailed them again and still haven't heard back from them. I will never buy cannon products again. Quality is crap and so is the rest of the company

After the lock on my Cannon safe I purchased 7 years ago failed I went through the lengthy process of first purchasing the MRC and then obtaining a replacement lock and keypad. I was assured the replacement would be compatible and easy to switch out. The failed lock and keypad was a Securam and the replacement sent me is a NCR. The lock and keypad came in an umarked brown box and had absolutely no paperwork or install instructions included. The mounting holes in the door and keyhole on the Securam keypad are vertical and the keyholes on the NCR are horizontal. I was told I would have to drill new holes in my safe door to mount the replacement keypad and I would be provided Youtube links on how to install. None of the threaded studs or mounting screws for the lock lined up with the mounting holes inside the door. Am I supposed to drill new holes into the steel of the inside door too???? Basically, the replacement lock and keypad are completely incompatible with the configuration of this safe and I would have thought Cannon would have realized this as all of these components originated from them. When I expressed all of this to Cannon Customer Service I was told I would simply have to buy a new lock from Securam as they (Cannon Safes) don’t carry Securam any longer. At minimum you would think Cannon would have offered to refund the lock they sent me. Could not be more frustrated and disappointed. UPDATE; After posting this review I received telephone calls and emails from Cannon Customer Experience Department. Initially, the rep told me they were sending an adaptor to the mounting plate previously sent along with a "personal safe" for my trouble. Neither ever arrived and when asked about the adaptor plate the conversation went back to how to make the original mounting plate work. The rep was incapable of understanding the mounting plate that was sent was incompatible regardless what configuration it was set to the door. The holes do not line up and they will never will. Ultimately, I informed Cannon I am purchasing a Securam lock and keypad from a local locksmith and I would appreciate a refund for the money I sent them. Cannon replied with the same, tired instructions they sent multiple times already as to how to install what cannot be installed. I am through. Ugh!

I purchased a Cannon Gun safe from Tractor Supply a TS5520. I unlocked it and followed the directions to change the combination. I locked ti with the door open and then NOTHING. The directions do not work. It will not unlock with the default combination. Nothing. Customer service refuses to help. I now have a very expensive boat anchor

I purchased two safes and one failed to open after a year. After a week of them asking for multiple videos and pictures, they are still asking for silly stuff. They clearly do not back their product. I have purchased many safes but will never again buy a cannon. Cheap junk with a supposedly “lifetime warranty”. Very disappointed and would not recommend!

I didn't want to give a 1 star review cannon doesn't even deserve that! They have done nothing but lie to me and I have called them out on it every time. They have no intentions in fulfilling the warranty and that is wrong! Fake fedex# they give you, said they made deal with locksmith never did. So much they said that I can't write it all down. Bad company! Never will deal with them again but I've seen they are getting by with this with alot of people.

I was going too buy Cannon safe while discounted at Costco 250.00 dollars off. I’m glad I read these negative reviews and saved myself a lot of aggravation. THANK YOU

I have waited for 2 weeks for a replacement Electronic lock that has not come. They gave me a FedEx tracking # 5648583427206 . This is not a FedEx #. They then told me on a 2nd call it would be there today. On the 3rd call they told me FedEx screwed up with a fake tracking #. They also sead they would e mail me and never did. There lifetime warranty is all Bull they will never replace anything . I will never ever buy anything from them ever again.

The safe, itself, was satisfactory; however, the safe had an internal breakage with the locking system. Called Cannon multiple times and was told they would be contacting a safe locksmith in my area---ha, ha ha! they completely failed to honor their warranty that they had promised.
