I called cannon safe customer service over a month ago because the lock won't work and I can't get into my safe. They keep saying to try something else I have tried everything they recommend. Then they say they will send locksmith and turn around and tell me to try the same thing over and over. Cannon does not stand behind their product.

I'm rating my cannon 64 safe on every site I can so I can get Cannon to stand behind their warranty and fix my electronics lock that has been broke for 2 months, the electronic lock won't lock and their customer service keeps telling me the parts are on the way. Terrible customer service

In all the years of the internet I've never had such a horrible set of interactions--or should I say non-interactions--with a company! Needing a replacement key for my safe, I emailed, I called, I chatted. I was told via numerous identical emails for two weeks that there were "technical difficulties" and that they would be resolved in 72 hours! Never happened! I wrote more emails, spent in excesss of five hours being put on hold whenever I telephoned, only eventually to be told that no agents available and then to be summarily disconnected after 20 minutes on hold listening to the same intolerably repetitive and increasingly annoying message over and over. When I finally was able to get a response over the chat with customer service, the woman at the other end made no sense, was ineffective, and told me that she could not telephone me. After much time and insistence she promised someone would call by the end of the day. It never happened! At one point I received an email which required a notarized statement of loss which I immediately provided. Payment was ultimately required together with a password which was almost impossible to identify and could hardly have provided any security. Well, have I actually received my key as of now, more than three weeks since this miserable process began? No, not yet despite payment via credit card but also a copy of same via PayPal, for reasons unexplained and never required of me with payment, not ever! WHAT A TERRIBLE NIGHTMARE!

My husband and I bought a very expensive Cannon safe and had it delivered to our home. After receiving the safe the keypad did not work. We have changed batteries, reset the key pad, researched online issues etc. We have e mailed for over a month at this time back and forth with a tech. Now he is no longer answering the e mails. Mind you every time you send an e mail you have to wait 72 hours for a response. We need a new key pad! I just tried again to chat with someone who wanted to charge me to speak with a tech!! Seriously I have spent enough for a safe that does not function properly! I am short of calling the retailer to come get the safe as we paid $200 to have it delivered , AND GET MY MONEY BACK. Very upset at the service received and the unresolved out come. P. S. STILL waiting!

They are not good at backing there products up would not warranty mine after year and it clearly states life time and had to pay lock smith 800 to get in to it because the locking mechanism failed they are good about trying to beat around the bush at customer service I would prefer a liberty or some other safe but not cannon

Bought a cannon 64 gun safe I have had it for 5 months. Keypad went out and come to find out they never gave me a key. Thank goodness I got it open. Called customer service say on hold for 30min then they finally gave me an option to call me back (45min later). Custer rep said they have problems all the time with those locks and set me up to get another one. Fast forward to finally getting it in and what would you know ZERO instructions. I put in on and then once again called customer service held for almost an hour to only get a recording saying they are now close. I will tell everyone to run from this company. There are tons more of quality safes and much more better manufacturers with a thousand time better customer service. Worst buy of my 55 year old life

I purchased a Cannon Shield series 64 gun safe. A major factor in my decision to purchase a Cannon safe over any other model safe, was their promise of a lifetime warranty. CANNON'S WARRANTY IS A LIE. It is a promise from Cannon to their customers, that Cannon has no intention of honoring. The quality of Cannon safes are very poor as well. I have had my safe less than 2 years, and it is already broken. I am locked out of my safe. Using a borescope, I found It is broken because of a manufacturer defect. The weld on the internal shaft has broken from the bar on my Cannon safe's internal locking mechanism. I have tried to contact Cannon safe on numerous occasions. It is obvious that Cannon simply makes themselves unavailable to their customers so they do not have to honor their warranty promise. I have called Cannon 4 times now in which I have been disconnected after being placed on hold for 21 minutes per call. Cannon drops the call at 21 minutes to get rid of their customers. I then tried to communicate with Cannon via email. Get this, I was told that my lifetime warranty would not be honored. The reason being is Cannon said I did not use Cannon's preferred brand battery. I have an email to prove this. I used a new Energizer brand battery which is a quality brand battery. Cannon really came up with a lame excuse to try to evade their obligation to honor their warranty promise to me. My broken safe has nothing to do with a battery issue. The keypad works fine. The breakage is a broken weld, which is a hardware problem due to Cannon's bad quality product. I will make it my mission to let everyone I can know how bad Cannon safes are. Not only is their product horrible, but their lack of customer service and their failure to honor their warranty obligation is even worse. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. I will smear Cannon's name on all social media I have access to. I will also do everything in my power to hurt Cannon's brand through word of mouth. One thing is very true, good word of mouth spreads fast, but bad word of mouth spreads even faster. All I wanted was for Cannon to honor their obligation and fix their defective product as promised. I guess that's just too much to ask of Cannon. If I could give Cannon less than a 1 star rating I would do so. I will be contacting an attorney to take legal action against Cannon Safe. All of these good reviews for Canon Safe must be phony. I can't even get Canon customer support to do ANYTHING. Spent over an hour on a chat, last week, sent in many pictures and now I get an email that makes it look like they don't have a clue what I'm talking about. Additionally, when I try to call them I get a recording that says they're closed since their hours are 'till 4 PST. I called well before 4 PST and get the recording. Can't say much good about support. Follow-up: Now I get an email from Canon claiming to have sent me an email last week and have shipped the replacement part. UPS says the label was created on the 20th and today is the 25th. No other updates. So, has it shipped or not - who knows?
