So my experience with this was awesome. Some of the bad reviews made me nervous, but I had no issues. I was able to get my script a few hours after I initiated the process. I started the process at 5am this morning. My pharmacy opened at 9am. When I called they already had the script and I was able to pick it up within 20 minutes. I would give 6 stars if I could to be honest lol. I live in New Jersey. Don’t know if that’s helps anyone.

i appreciated the assistance received…
i appreciated the assistance received from CallOnDoc. The boss saddled us with some ratty insurance that has No Doctors. So my First visit is nearly 8 months into 2024! i requested a consult to see how long i could skate on the Other RX they were willing to refill. The doctor called almost immediately, and was very helpful. But we Really Need more telehealth companies who will order migraine RX and muscle relaxants. i mean, dang, i was hit by a Truck! Direct spine impact! i cant get Anyone to help me. And i Got the controlled substance list. Neither of my unfilled RX are on the list! And these are valid, long term RX from a local MD i had thru my prior insurance! Anyway, i do appreciate the helpful doctor. Thanks.
Hey, y’all! i hope they leave the #telehealth CallOnDoc reply up. Please note that my Review says, the RX I Need is NOT a controlled substance. But the reply says: We do Not refill controlled substances. Thats like discussing apples, when i am upset that there Are no mandarins! And This is what we put up with. Companies Refusing to fill NON Controlled substances, while Hiding behind the Controlled substances banner! Furthermore, I have located Legal Documents that Say the ability to prescribe controlled substances thru telehealth has been Extended thru Nov 2024! But, if u search, nothing can be found. This is a Very Serious issue that i have contacted lawmakers over! My Mother completed SUICIDE cuz her Doctor Dropped Her! We Need this addressed! And i have contacted the Head of WebMD who was planning a telehealth convention! I thank God I was able to Leave all Pain RX five years ago, when i took up meditation. But it Doesn’t Work for Everyone. People are Dying! One father had a Heart Attack, when his pain RX was revoked. Pain jacks up the blood pressure. He DIED! People are DYING! We Need to Fix This!

Hello Teresa,
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you found our doctor's assistance helpful.
While we understand the importance of accessing necessary medications, please note that we do not refill or prescribe controlled substances as a telehealth service. However, we are committed to exploring alternative solutions and advocating for broader access to essential medications through telehealth channels.

service way too slow.
I tried this company for its visit format, where you send messages to communicate with doctors and don’t have to rush. However, CallOnDoc’s service is extremely slow. For a whole week they have not even initiated the so called prior authorization process, and I will be out of my meds soon. Customer service can do nothing besides transferring my message to the PA department and asking me to wait. I prepaid for three months service, but I guess I will give up and switch to a more reputable platform where issues and concerns can be addressed more promptly.

On 4/24/24 my 10 year old son…
On 4/24/24 my 10 year old son complained of a headache & eye pain so I kept him home from school. He has bad allergies so this is not uncommon for him plus he had seemed “off” for a few days & his brother had a cold the week before so figured it was one or the other. As the day went on his eyes started getting redder & redder & I had talked to multiple moms of children in his class who had pink eye. By the next morning it was pretty obvious that he had pink eye too. I made the mistake of choosing a high deductible plan this year & it seems like my kids have been to the doctor every other week since January. I did not feel like spending another $200 to have a Dr see him in person to tell us what we already knew in order to get eye drops. But it was also one of those days where I didn’t even feel like doing a telemedicine video visit either. I work from home, so waiting to connect to a video visit, even though more convenient than an in-person visit, still interferes with my job. My kids always come first, but they have come first A LOT in the last few months so I went in search of a telemedicine provider that I could chat or text with & found callondoc. Apparently I used them in the past because I already had an account. It was super easy. I just sent some pics, provided an explanation & our info & that was it. The price was reasonable & I even saw my account had “birthday” credits so the visit didn’t even cost anything. So 3 stars for all of that. It would have been 5 stars had it not been for the hassle of getting a doctor’s excuse. After the visit I went in to get the visit notes which were hardly visit notes at all. Definitely not anything I could provide to the school for his absence. So I messaged customer service to request a dr’s note. They responded very quickly & said they could provide one but it would cost an additional $20. ???? I had never heard of such a thing so I asked them to clarify that they wanted me to pay more money for a note after I had already paid for a visit. Customer service was quick to send me the writing in the terms & conditions outlining this cost. So if you are like me & tend to skim or skip the fine print, you have to pay extra for a dr’s excuse. Initially I told them to take a hike, but when I realized there was no way my son was going to be going to school the next day & a dr’s excuse is required for 3 days absence, I knew I was stuck. So I agreed & asked if I could use the rest of my credit to pay for it, which they said I could. Now 13 messages back & forth & 5 days later, I still don’t have the excuse because the customer service team has to be one of the most inept I have ever dealt with & the policies of this company are ridiculous. So the first thing I am told is that they cannot provide an excuse for 4/24 since he was not under their care at this time. Never have I ever seen any provider with this policy. Ever. People don’t typically rush to the Dr on day one of an illness, especially if they think it’s a cold or allergies. But at this point, it’s whatever, I need the note. I have agreed to whatever nonsense they have wanted me to for 5 days now & each new message is asking me the same thing or asking me what days he was off. Each time I tell them he was off 4/24-4/26 & then we have to start over with the whole they won’t excuse for the 4/24. So tonight I have been going back & forth with them telling them he returned on 4/29 & they are telling me that they can only excuse for 3 days so do I want a return date of 4/27 or 4/28…which was THE WEEKEND. Listen, initially I thought this was an awesome & convenient way to get low cost medical care fast, but now I am second guessing the whole thing. It seems to me like it may just be a dr’s excuse mill, churning out excuses as long as you pay the fees. The whole not excusing a patient for the day before you “diagnosed” them & being so strict on your 3 day excuse limits that you can’t use common sense, just seems like red flags that they are going out of their way not to raise any red flags. Anyway, it wasn’t worth the hassle. I should have just spent the $200 & went to a real doctor. I have until Wed to turn the excuse in or I could get a fine for truancy. Even if I get the excuse I may still get one because I need all the days to be excused. & now it’s too late to see a real doctor because the pink eye is gone!

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
We truly appreciate your input as we continuously strive to improve our services for all our patients.
Telehealth services, while convenient and accessible, have certain limitations compared to traditional in-person healthcare visits. In the case of providing excuses, telehealth providers typically follow guidelines and regulations that are in place to ensure appropriate and responsible medical care. While we aim to accommodate our patient's needs to the best of our ability, the nature of telehealth consultations may restrict our ability to provide extended excuses.
Therefore, in situations where a longer period of absence from work or other activities may be necessary, it may be advisable to seek in-person evaluation and care from a healthcare provider who can conduct a more thorough assessment and provide appropriate documentation based on the specific circumstances of your condition.
We hope for another opportunity to serve you better in the future. If you have any further concerns or feedback, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Highly recommend
Fast service. User-friendly APP. Affordable care when you're in a bind. My 90-year-old dad's PCP office would not return our call --left three messages with the receptionist. 10 minutes to closing there was still no call back. Dad was recently treated for UTI but antibiotics failed to cure it after 7 days. Call A Doc helped right away!

I was skeptical at first
I was skeptical at first, but really needed to get an amoxicillin prescription ASAP, so I decided to give this a shot.
I was impressed with the turnaround. Within 30 mins of submitting my consult data, my prescription was sent to CVS.
Can definitely recommend.

So far I am leaving this at 3 stars
So far I am leaving this at 3 stars. As advertised they claim it takes one to two hours before your case is taken and completed. I am now on your hour 5, and my visit is still pending meanwhile I have to suffer my current issue.
