Great experience with Calavera NY!
Great experience with Calavera NY! I purchased a loose diamond from Calavera and took it to a local jeweler to have it checked. The jeweler verified that the laser inscription on the diamond matched the certification, which gave me even more confidence in my purchase. What surprised me the most was when the jeweler told me that they sell diamonds with the same specs for about 4x the price I paid. 😳 I’m extremely happy with the value I got from Calavera. The diamond was exactly as described and properly certified. If you’re hesitant about purchasing a loose diamond online, my experience was very positive. I would definitely purchase from Calavera again!

Hi Kim, thank you for such a detailed review! Having your jeweler confirm the inscription matches the certificate, and pointing out the 4x price difference, is exactly the kind of validation we hope every skeptical first-time buyer gets. Thank you for sharing your experience for others who might be on the fence and for choosing Calavera!

My beautiful diamond is more gorgeous…
My beautiful diamond is more gorgeous in person and has exceeded my expectations! Within 2 weeks I received my stone and you just can’t beat Calavera’s pricing. The same stone was listed 2-3x more with other retailers. I will absolutely be doing more business with Calavera in the future!
Response from Calavera New YorkAug 31, 2026
Hi Stephanie, thank you for this! Glad it looked even better in person than you expected, and arrived within two weeks on top of that. Finding the same stone listed for two to three times more elsewhere is exactly the gap we're here to close. Looking forward to your next order! Thank you for choosing Calavera!

The pricing and quality are great
The pricing and quality are great! I was gifted a new upgraded engagement ring by my husband for our 20 year anniversary. He purchased a 2.5 carat fancy pink stone set in a ring for me. It turned out amazing! So happy with it. The only thing they might improve is the customer being able to get updates on the progress of orders more easily. Would definitely recommend.
Response from Calavera New YorkAug 28, 2026
Hi Stephanie, thank you for such a wonderful review, and happy 20th anniversary! A 2.5-carat fancy pink stone is a stunning way to mark twenty years together, and we're so glad it turned out to be everything you hoped for. We really appreciate the feedback on order updates, it's actually something we're already working on: we're launching an improved website with better manufacturing-stage tracking, so you'll be able to see exactly where your piece is at each step. Thank you for the recommendation, and congratulations again! Welcome to the Calavera family!
