Beautiful well constructed cabinets at a great price
After comparing cabinets in 2016 from several big box and online retailers I found Cabinet Giant to offer the best quality cabinets at a great value. Be aware of cheap press board (MDF) cabinets offered by others at low price points. Stick with all plywood cabinets for a product that will last. I purchased several (all lower) cabinets for my basement I was finishing. I also purchased matching trim pieces. These were delivered to my office where a loading dock was available to save on freight. They were delivered on time without any damage to the packaging or cabinets. The first cabinet took longer to assemble but once I understood the assembly process the others were much quicker to assemble. I would also say these cabinets look fantastic. You can not tell these were self assembled once the counter tops were installed. For the best finish I would highly recommend purchasing matching kick plate sections long enough to use one piece for each run of cabinets and not use the individual ones that come with each cabinet. Our main kitchen cabinets were also assembled by the prior homeowner (and it is easy to see) The Cabinet Giant cabinets we purchased are far superior to what was used by the previous owner. We also had granite counters installed. These cabinets are plenty strong enough to support any heavy counter you would wish. If there was one option I would have loved they offer would be to pre-drill holes for installation of door hardware. That took me long to do as I was nervous about messing up a door. But they all turned out great. I intentionally waited two years to write this review to ensure the performance met my expectations.
