Why wouldn't the lumbar support be height adjustable?
Honestly really shocked that the lumbar pillow part isn't height adjustable. It's not in the right positioning for my height and should be made the adjust for different preferences. This would have been a very simple feature to have, and one I thought would be a "common sense" feature. Very disappointed in that. It has been about a week now and I'm still getting used to all the other adjustments for different needs while at my desk and using monitors of various heights... but the lumbar pillow part that is what actually supports your back remains very low and it doesn't seem anything can be done about it. So I've had to purchase a lumbar support pillow in addition to this expensive chart support my back for my small height (5 feet, 0 inches).

Good aesthetics, Questionable Ergonomics
I bought this chair because it had leg rests and a padded seat. Something that's hard to come by. It also comes in cute colors, which I appreciate. However, it wasn't quite what I expected. Here's some points:
1. The chair frame and base are all plastic. No metal outside of the hydraulic cylinder and seat mechanism. The seat foam is soft but bottoms out quickly. I think despite the 300lb rating, I would go for a stronger chair if you weigh over 200lbs.
2. It's a bit smaller than expected. The models on the pictures make it look large and cozy, but they must be petite and short.
3. The lumbar support is not adjustable and the pillow doesn't fix that. It's extremely hard to fit the pillow around the lumbar section. You have to really pry the two sections of the back of the chair apart to slide the pillow around it. If you manage to get it installed, the pillow kind of forces you into a reclined position which is great for relaxing but not for productivity.
4. The armrests don't have much adjustability. Only up and down adjustment is pretty sad for a chair at this price point.
5. The leg rests are not a good incentive to buy a chair. It's just not stable enough to use them without fear of tipping over. I'd recommend a detached leg/foot rest or hammock under your desk instead.
Overall it's not a terrible chair for the price. I think if aesthetics are your main goal then it's probably the best looking chair at this price point. However if you really need a reliable, ergonomic workhorse chair, there are better ones out there for this price.
One last note: Cabevibe does not cover return shipping and charges a pretty hefty restocking fee. If you don't like it, I'd recommend asking for a full refund without a physical return. The customer support is quite helpful on this front.

Even so, the structure and materials are thoroughly tested to meet durability and safety standards, and the chair is backed by a 3-year warranty, which can be extended to 5 years through our community sharing program.
Regarding the lumbar support, the S1 Embrace uses a dynamic lumbar design that adapts to different sitting postures rather than offering a manual height adjustment. We understand this approach may not work for everyone. For users who prefer more adjustable ergonomic features, our S2 ergonomic chair offers more flexibility in lumbar and armrest adjustments.
You’re also absolutely right that comfort and sizing can feel very different depending on body type. While we do provide full dimensions on our website, real-life experience can vary. Our support team is always happy to help recommend the best fit based on height, weight, and working posture, because sometimes a chair that looks larger doesn’t necessarily provide better ergonomic support.
As for the lumbar pillow and footrest, they’re intended as additional comfort features rather than core ergonomic components. The pillow is designed to fit tightly so it doesn’t slide during use, and the footrest is meant for short breaks or relaxation rather than extended seated support.
