I sent a PS4 to them to sell. I clean my ps4 and wipe all my data. The PS4 was less than a year old and they said it was having "booting issues"! I really believe they switched my PS4 and took mines. I have no way to prove this now but I see other customer have had the same issue. Please use a reliable source like Amazon or atleast be present when they are checking your item you want to sell. It's such a shame people scam people of the smallest things nowadays.

It's been a month since I sent my item to them and I haven't received the money I was promised. They don't have a phone number so that you can directly contact them; instead they have a "chat" feature on their website that never works (no one is ever online to help you). I've been contacting them once a week for a month for an update and all they've been doing it avoiding my issue. Their customer service is complete garbage and their supervisor doesn't care about their customers. If you want to give away your item for free and receive absolutely no compensation for that, I highly recommend this site. Otherwise, stay the hell away. This whole company is a god damn scam.

Terrible service, although ultimately got paid the promised quote for my phone. It took almost 2 months to get paid, and that was only after I threatened to file a complaint with the better business bureau. By the way, the BBB has 200 complaints against them. I will never work with this company again. In the response to my review that appears below, they failed to mention the numerous emails that went unanswered and the fact that it took over a month to even look at my phone despite all of the email follow ups I sent. They also failed to mention that they promised to look at my phone within 2 business days after my 3rd or 4th email, and that was about 2 weeks before they did (I followed up multiple times after the deadline had passed). In addition, the phone NEVER had a bad ESN. I owned it free and clear when I sent it, and when I FINALLY got a supervisor on a live chat, they admitted the ESN was never bad, and that the error was on their end. I stand by my original review...don't be fooled by their response. It was not until I threatened to file a complaint with the BBB that I got paid.

There are lots of services like this: do not use buybackworld. They are slow. Customer service is terrible (email only, no phone number -- always a bad sign). it has been over 2 months since sending them a tablet. They kept delaying processing and then failed to meet a deadline they set for themselves. Even after contacting them multiple times, they have not resolved my issue and have not sent the agreed upon dollar amount for the tablet. I have now filed a complaint with the NYS Consumer Protection department. Just use another service. They are not worth the aggravation.

Same story as so many others here, 8 weeks since they took (stole) my Samsung Gear S3 and nothing but excuses. I files a fraud report with the USPS as they used the mail to swindle me out of my smart watch. Stay away from these guys - at best a horrible company and at worst a total scam.

I sent in a Samsung phone which according to their website would be worth about $10. They received it on September 3rd. I waited and waited to get a response back. On October 3rd, having heard nothing from them, I asked for a status. I received a generic email stating that they were upgrading their facilities and that I should expect a turnaround time of 20 days instead of 2 days. Note: 30 days had already passed. So we continue waiting. Finally, on November 14, I receive a reply stating that the phone had a cracked LCD (it did not when I sent it. It was only scratched) and that they were only offering 25 cents for it. I went back to their website to look up my phone. They no longer accept it. So bottom line, after waiting almost two and half months, they decide they no longer want the phone and are now claiming that it is more damaged then when I sent it in.

Quick and trustworthy. I would sell to them again.

It has been over 6 weeks since I sent an item to sell, and I have not yet been paid. I was advised that due to a major influx of iPhones, payments could be delayed. I understand that, but a delay of more than 6 weeks? Come on, you can do better than that!
