Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your frustrations and want to address your concerns. At ButterflyMX, our goal is to make access easier and more secure for everyone, and we take tenant feedback seriously as we continuously improve our products. We want to clarify a few points to ensure you have the best possible experience: • Connectivity Issues: The intercom requires a stable internet connection to function properly. If you’re experiencing repeated connectivity problems, checking with your property management team or internet provider might be helpful to ensure the WiFi signal is strong near the entryway. • One Phone Ringing: We designed the system to prioritize personal privacy by ringing only the phone associated with a particular resident. However, we understand this feature may not work for everyone, and we’re exploring options to enhance flexibility for shared living situations. • Winter Usability: We recognize the challenge of using smartphones in cold weather. Our system also supports key cards, key fobs, PIN codes, and virtual keys, which can be entered without removing gloves. We'd be happy to assist if you’re encountering issues with these features. • Security Concerns: Your safety is our top priority. The door timer and access logs are adjustable by property managers, and we encourage you to share your concerns with them directly to ensure the system is optimized for your property. • Support Accessibility: We apologize if you’ve had difficulty reaching us. While property managers handle most on-site troubleshooting, you can contact our support team by calling (800) 398-4416 or emailing [email protected]. Lastly, regarding the claim of being a “spy device,” ButterflyMX is designed with strict privacy policies in place. Any data collected is used solely to enhance functionality and security, and we work hard to ensure transparency and compliance with privacy regulations. Here's a link to our privacy policy with more information: https://butterflymx.com/privacy-policy/ We’re committed to improving our system and your experience. If you’d like to provide more details or work directly with us to address these issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can call us at (800) 398-4416, ext. 3 or email [email protected] Thank you again for your feedback.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you find ButterflyMX convenient for building access. You’re correct that the system relies on a stable internet connection to function, and we understand how frustrating outages can be. While we aim to provide a reliable and seamless experience, we encourage keeping a backup like traditional keys for peace of mind during internet or power issues. We also recommend letting your property manager know about any persistent internet problems so they can address them. If you ever need assistance or have additional feedback, feel free to call us at (800) 398-4416, ext. 3, or by emailing [email protected]. We appreciate your input as we continue improving!
