Review: Entrance Intercom System
Review for an entrance intercom system for a small building. Overall, it is a mixed bag. Prompt customer service. Dashboard interface works for HOA needs and app easy for all tenants. Much better than other systems we have had. However, sometimes the system just does not work. For no apparent reason. And we don't know about it until a delivery is missed or a friend calls a tenant. Also, we have had to reset the system several times as we lose the internet connection. For now, we are satisfied given our prior experiences.

We would be happy to take a closer look and help troubleshoot the connectivity issues at your property. Please call us at (800) 398-4416 or email [email protected], so we can work together to help resolve any issues. Thanks!

2 days after I signed up for the app I get a Google critical security alert that the password for the app has been compromised. I also read online that the sell your data. If my password has been compromised after 2 days then their security sucks. It was a complex password, not used before in other apps.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take security very seriously at ButterflyMX and are sorry to hear that you received a security alert from Google. To clarify, ButterflyMX has not experienced a data breach. If your password was compromised, it may have been exposed through another source. Additionally, we do not sell user data—our privacy policy outlines our commitment to protecting your personal information, and we take that commitment seriously. As a best practice, we strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication on all your accounts to add an extra layer of protection. Failed attempt to re-invent to doorbell.
Butterfly seem to have achieved the amazing feat of re-inventing the wheel so the wheel doesn't turn around. This system does not fulfil the basic functions of a normal doorbell ie alerting all residents that there is someone at the door. The company urgently needs to make it possible for one listing to call multiple cellphones simultaneously. Until it does so, you would be well-advised to avoid this expensive fiasco.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience! ButterflyMX was designed to enhance property access by letting residents open doors, gates, and garages from their smartphones, wherever they are. We'd like to better understand your request for calling multiple phones simultaneously. Please reach out to our support team by calling (800) 398-4416 or emailing [email protected] so we can look into this further for you. Thanks, ButterflyMX
