BuildZoomReviews of buildzoom.com

Was working on a backyard remodel Got in touch with a few contractors by my own, then stumbled across BuildZoom and gave it a shot. I had issues with getting landscapers I found on Yelp or Houzz to provide timely quotes, with many of them overbooked or ghosting. BuildZoom found 3 contractors, and I got two quotes from two reputable contractors. One contractor, in particular, is such a big company that I wonder how I didn't find about them in Yelp. They are there, but just not where I would have looked for them. BuildZoom staff was professional, quick, not pushy, and genuinely interested to help. I had a tremendous experience working with Brooke. I generally would recommend to work with them in order to get good bids for your project.

They were honest, on time and great price

As a newer homeowner, I was having difficulty finding contractors for a damage repair project that I needed to have completed. My typical mechanisms (Yelp reviews, Google reviews) weren't fruitful with figuring out what contractors would potentially be interested in my project, and I did not have the time to cold call many contractors to talk through everything. Once I found BuildZoom, the experience was seamless. BuildZoom connected me with 3 contractors for my project, and I met with 2 of the 3 contractors to show them the project, they submitted the bids, and I ended up selecting one of them. It was easy to communicate with the contractors via BuildZoom's site, and I am happy to say that my project is now completed ~1.5 months after I initially found BuildZoom and requested bids for projects!

Agent Rogue was super helpful and informative. Never felt like I was bothering him with any question.

J Patrick construction. Very bad customer service. We are being ignored when we ask for our defective bathroom window to be replaced. It has a sticker imbedded in the glass. We are also missing a kitchen cupboard that was shown in the picture of the home we purchased. I had to do all repairs on my doors myself and touch up paint inside and out. No cleaning was done although the builder claims they came out twice that is not true. I even had to remove all wrappings from appliances. The door thresh holds on all outside doors the plastic was melted on and I had to clean it off with a razor blade. Unbelievable. Yet when we reach out to the builder he blows us off!!! We are so disgusted and think our only hope is to hire a lawyer and go to court. Or small claims court.

They replied quickly and corrected the situation in one day!!

Through their website, we were able to find someone who could help with our unique problem (of replacing an insert for a door threshold).

I run a small Architecture firm with my wife on Oahu, HI. Michael R Schubert Architectural Design LLC. Everyone I communicated with at BuildZoom was knowledgeable about Construction and Design Industry needs and concerns… Colin Dylewski was my contact - great communications and follow up from him. Colin lined me up with two capable and professional builders for a tricky remodel project in Kaneohe… great service - thanks!
