We considered several different options for PM software and we found Buildium to be the best option between cost effectiveness and functionality. There are most definitely more positives than negatives. All in all it is easy to use, has great accounting features, the maintenance work orders are wonderful, one of my favorite features is the main screen dash board. Their customer service is very good, although the internal contact support is nominally helpful. It would be better if it were an online chat. The only negatives are the lease renewal input is cumbersome. The smart phone app is lacking. Reviewing the owner financials can be confusing. Also, there are several places to upload data. It would be nice if there were one option per property and it could be assigned to various owners and/or tenants. They have this to a limited degree but we've had to create a policy as to where to upload information. All in all, it's great and I would highly recommend the software.

After four years on the system, there are most of the features that the full blown, unlimited cost real estate operating management systems have at less than the cost of the annual maintenance charges. When I went back into residential real estate four years ago I investigated the cost of purchase of the unlimited systems that I was accustomed to using in prior years.They wanted $33,000 plus and wouldn't phase in the cost based on use. I then chose Buildium. Sometimes, the features needed improving and slowly, they have. Today, the system fully works for us and is a bargain. Yes, it does not do everything possible. But is does everything necessary. I would not move to another platform, even though we can afford to. I have recommended Buildium to others and I continue to do so.

Since signing up with Buildium I have been able to stream line my business. The time it took to take care of checks, vendor requests and payments, owner statements etc has been cut by over half the time. The reports are awesome and my owners and tenants are thrilled which has turns into more and more referalls and a huge growth. Customer service is my number one goal and Buildium has made that goal easier!

I think that it is very intuitive, smart, maybe a little slow but very usefull. Just wished it was a little cheaper.

I love Buildium. I have some tenants that pay weekly, bi-weeky, bi-monthly and monthly. This was my biggest draw to Buildium; they let me customize for each tenant.

This site is so easy to use and if you do get stuck the help videos are terrific. Customer service is excellent. I think its great that each report can be dowloaded in multiple formats and emailed out easily. My favorite feature is the abilty to allow landlords see what is going on with thier properties. Buildium just keeps getting better! Keep up the good work.

Buildium not only offers excellent customer service it provides a user friendly platform that makes keeping track of the day to day operations of our business.
