It has been 3 days since I started calling regarding a range hood never received. They confirmed that it never left the warehouse but still no one has an idea as to why. I will not buy from them ever again.

Buyer beware. I purchased an ice maker after reviewing their returns policy. I took it out of the box realized it was the wrong wiring and replaced it in the box. Assumed returns would be straight forward. Guess again. They qualify an ice maker attachment as an appliance thereby having it fall under the Kitchenaid no return policy. Kitchenaid itself has the ice maker replacement under parts. I was told by the office of the president that parts were appliances and I was using semantics. I ask who is using semantics.

I ordered 3 products. Two out of three were cancelled by Build.com after the fact and one was sent before the previous were cancelled. The items were meant to go together. So when I put in for a return, I get charged for the return shipping?! Really?! What kind of business does that to it's customers. Will never buy from this company again and do my best to make sure no one I know does the same. Terrible customer service. They were nice on the phone about the return and "convenienly didn't tell me I'd be on the hook for the shipping.... Angry customer.

once you buy something you'll get a ton of spam that you can't opt out of.

I first found build.com by searchI got ice makers. Their site popped up as icemakersdirect.com. Once I found the machine I was looking for a pop up ad offered 5% off if I join their mailing list. I did and of course my inbox begins to fill up with their marketing emails. I find my 5% off code and apply it at the check out and it says this item does not qualify for this code. Bait and switch!!!! Reluctantly I purchase the ice maker. It arrived damaged. I notified build.com and the rep sent me an email saying he would try to help but no guarantee he can do anything for me. I responded to his email with the info and pics he requested. He never followed through at all.

Bought a product that was online and advertised at a really good price. 3 days later got an email that the product was unavailable...but here have $20 off anything else. I don't want anything else on your site. I clicked on an ad for a specific item at a specific price and it wasn't honored.

Price on website showed Kohler toilet model that we liked for $299.00. Picture showed it with seat. When we got the total price the seat was added extra as was the wax seal all which comes in the box. This brought the price to over $390.00. BEWARE of these type practices from any seller. When I chatted with them on line the lady even tried to add the flush handle. This statement is my opinion.
