Budsies sent me a plushie that had the hair not properly attached, if a child were to pick up the plushie by the hair it would have ripped right off. They also clearly cut corners on some things, and the sewing and overall construction of the plushie is very poorly done (fabric bunched awkwardly, loose threads, seams coming undone), I have made my own simple plushies and clothing before, so I can tell the handy work here is very rushed. I paid extra for their sneak peak and the photos they send aren't great quality, they only send one picture at a time, and they frame the photo in a way to hide flaws. Budsies customer service offered me $25 refund, or I return the plushie to have them "fix" it (they pay shipping, but I would still have to pay $80 in duties). Already ~ $300 CAD down the drain, I cut my losses and decided to commission a plushie from an individual artist instead. Budsie plush is likely to be deconstructed to make something else or trashed.

Never received my order. Got a bunch of emails with excuses but item never actually arrived months after the order was placed. Don't order from here. It's a scam.

Their 'interpretation' of the art supplied was so far off, it didn't even look like the character. The colors were way off. The apron, colored to look like a Starbucks apron, was a light lime color. It draped down the bear like a dress. Not apron-like at all and no where close to the right color. The bear, whose color was a rich red-brown color, they made him light tan. I showed a friend and they didn't even recognize the bear from my artwork supplied. It wasn't even close. Terrible customer service. Charged me an additional $50 for a retry, but I don't trust them at this point. I doubt they know what they are doing - because surely they can't figure out the correct colors. I requested a refund, but even a partial would have sufficed. Way over-priced for their 'interpretation', the word they used to excuse the fact it didn't look like my artwork. I'm so disappointed, I'm donating it to the goodwill. It's terrible, not even close to what I was expecting and the customer service is horrendous. They are happily at an impasse and won't budge to salvage this situation. Waste of $160 and a terrible use of funds I received to produce my book.

Worse customer service ever, they shipped my order with bad reputed company I made my order on March I have not received it until today The seller is denying any responsibility to track of my order. It has been with the shipping company since 10 of May complaining about this on there Facebook page got me blocked from their page.

First order from them back in 2019 went beautifully, but reorders since then have been atrocious. We requested a reorder of a the 2019 item in December of 2021. They sent us an entirely different product. We paid *again* to get the right item created. They sent the saddest reproduction of the original item *to the wrong address*. The reps keep blaming their manufacturers in China and the fact that there's apparently a Lunar New Year every few months. They've stopped responding to all emails. TLDR: We paid thousands of dollars twice for Budsies to send the wrong products and now they're ignoring us *Update November 2023* After posting this review, Budsies reached out to resolve the issue by having us ship them the original doll they were trying to replicate. They lost it in transit to their manufacturers in China in June/July. After repeated emails, we're still struggling to get any responses from them. When we finally do, they consistently blame issues on manufacturers being out on holiday, but they'll get back to us in a week or two, after which they never do. Still waiting on this order from December 2021. *Update June 2024* New rep contacted me after I followed up with the ever-silent email thread to tell me that the previous rep messed up, is no longer at the company, and now they'd like us to pay them an *additional* $1900+ for the past two orders they sent to us in error since they only charged us deposits and not the full amount. Then, and only then, will they send us the original item we ordered.

too much money, you make it obvious you are trying to profit off of us for our entertainment. there are plush commisions for 5 dollars. do better

I wish I read these reviews before ordering! Their responses are all the same! The customer is misleading , anyone notice a pattern in there response. I put my order is 11-4 because of their adverting get it by holiday so what a great idea for a kid for Xmas. They claim that I didn’t choose holiday rush shopping which I certainly didn’t see but seriously 8 weeks ? Here is email I got 11-21. To me it sounds like this should absolutely be done by Xmas During step 3, we'll also hand-sew the pieces together to create your huggable 3D design. Then, we'll bring your plush creation to life by adding all the fluffy stuffing. Next step: your design will pass through our quality control inspection. I didn’t hear anything so I reached out 12-16. Here is response. Hi Kristin, Thank you for reaching out to us. Please disregard my previous email as well. Your Budsie Puppet should be finished up shortly. There were a few small changes that needed to be made to the design before your Budsie Puppet could be completed. Our designers noted slight alterations to be made, so the seamstresses have had to go back in and adjust this prior to shipment. We are working to get this corrected and sent out to you as soon as possible! Please let me know if you have any other questions. I guess their definition of shortly means another 5 weeks cause they are telling me 1-27. I think they have t even started my order cause when I asked to see proof , nope! Wouldn’t provide it to me.
