A sound investment. Worth every cent.
This immediately became an indispensable tool as soon as it was installed. My wife (who cannot walk or climb stairs) was previously “trapped” on the upper level of the house but now she can be brought down to the living area for socializing. The chair lift is well-engineered: both from a simple functional point-of-view and its many safety features. Operation is simple and reliable. The only thing that would improve it would be if the chair could swivel in both directions. A clockwise swivel is perfect at the top of the stairs but an anti-clockwise swivel would be more convenient at the bottom of our stairs. I am sure there is a sound engineering reason why this is not possible.
