I would advise to NEVER book a hotel reservation through them. They sent the reservation through to the hotel but not the money, so I was charged by both the hotel and BF. BF refuses to refund, insisting it is the hotel’s responsibility since the hotel, when receiving no money through BF, had me pay for the room. The hotel figures they were paid only once which is all they need and are not refunding the money.

We're so sorry that you are having this experience, Jennifer. We know that you are frustrated and don't blame you one bit. We need to be very clear here, though, that BringFido does not ever receive nor hold funds; we simply process them through to the hotel, and then our job of verifying pet friendliness is initiated. Our partnerships allow us to offer the lowest rates possible, so if a hotel then charges you again, they are double charging for something they've already collected. Because BringFido does not have, and never did have those funds, our role is to then leverage our influence to try and obtain a refund when a guest has been wrongfully charged. Although it's unusual within the hundreds of reservations we process a week, a hotel's mishandling of guest reservations does happen, and we do everything in our power to advocate for things to be righted. We have not given up and will continue to communicate with you as we work to resolve this on your behalf. Again, we truly regret this has happened to you and hope to see a positive outcome soon.

I made a reservation for me and my dog through here to have a surgical procedure done for her at specialty vet. It was a nonrefundable reservation. The vet called and can't take her that day and needs to reschedule. I called the hotel directly to ask if I could just move reservation to new date, to which they said yes, they'd be happy to do that, but I needed to go through Bringfido. It's been a mess with them. They say they've reached out to hotel to confirm what I said, but they said they sent an email and that is all. Hotel says they didn't receive email, and basically, I can't get the reservation changed. I'm wishing I'd just booked directly with the hotel now.

Hi Leslie, in looking into your case, I see that it took us 5 days from the day that you called us about a date change until the day we notified you of your refund. We would very much like to have seen things happen more quickly for you, however, please know that we never stopped working on your behalf during that time. What was missing was an update to you later last week so we're very sorry to not have reached back out until we had a definitive answer yesterday. What is communicated to a guest by a hotel front desk agent is sometimes not indicative of what their corporate proccesses involve and it's our job to manage all those steps behind the scenes. Your promised refund is being processed, so we hope that you will give us another opportunity to assist you, and very much hope that your pup's procedure goes smoothly.

I planned my whole trip through BringFido for my dog's 11th birthday as he is retiring from working dog status this year as well. Every stop or stay was strictly pet-friendly options. The website was easy to navigate, the reviews were spot on!
