Thank you for your feedback, Anne. This sounds quite out of the ordinary. For reservations made at least the day before check in, our dedicated team of specialists verify directly with the hotel that the guest (and their pet) will be accommodated as per the reservation details and the hotel is made aware of the incoming pet at that time. But even in the case of same-day reservations, the pets are noted on the reservation details so that the hotel is aware and can make any necessary accommodations at the time of check-in.
