I bought a Brazos walking stick from a local hardware company. I am recovering from traumatic injuries to both legs so the stick is necessary to walking exercises. It is durable and the handle perfectly fits my hand. The hickory stick is handsome. It is also heavy enough to be useful as a club if the need arises. I was so pleased with my stick that I ordered one as a gift to a friend who is recovering from a gunshot wound too his left leg.

It seemed like it took forever, then I eventually got a response thru email. Then once the cane arrived 1- it was filthy, but I cleaned it 2- the metal tip spun around on the bottom, so I took it apart, and the screw holding the metal bottom had cracked the walnut so it wouldn't hold tight. My experience in cabinetmaking allowed me to fill and redrill and fix the bottom of the cane so it would be secure. Overall the shaft is finished nicely . The writing is ok but the cursive C makes the cv-66 look like ev 66. Overall I'm keeping the cane due to the fact I'll deal with it . I'm sorry you couldn't have created a better product. The uss america carrier vet group I belong to was interested in this site because I talked alot about in the begining but now they are unimpressed. Sorry have a great day.

Just received my walnut Brazos Walking Cane. It is artwork in wood. I have used my Brazos cedar cane for years and it never fails to be noticed and complimented - even by woodworkers here in Maine. Your canes make my day more beautiful. Thank you

I LOVE my new walking stick. It's just beautiful. I had a situation where my first delivery came and there was no walking stick in the tube packaging!!!! I'm thinking someone stole it along it's way to me. But Brazos replaced my stick, once I contacted them and provided the evidence. I am so appreciative. I wonder if there might be less chance of theft if it was not advertised on the outside of the tube what is in there?

We received the cane promptly after ordering, but it was missing the engraved name we asked to have put on the cane. Contacting the company to resolved the issue is impossible, since you can call them. We file a complaint using the company website, once we found the correct link under help (not a very helpful link either). The company did refund the cost of engraving, but made not attempt to contact us to offer another solution to correct the issue. Overall the cane itself is very nice and constructed well.
