It is beautiful and I know hickory will be long lasting since that is the same as my kitchen cabinets. I had my name engraved so the walking stick can't walk off with someone else.

From ordering to receiving it was easy and fast.I use it every day On my walk around the park it’s comfortable as well as a great Piece of craftsmanship.

The overall product was great, with a few exceptions, the compass is mounted at a slight angle not flush with the top , the tip is at an angle also, I found the price quite high… it is for my grandson for boys scouts they were supposed to give him one for his completion of his camping / hiking badge and it’s been months since he was supposed to get it and never has, so I ordered from Brazos since I already have 3 of your hiking sticks, I’ve had one for almost 10 yrs, I’ve been more than satisfied with your products until this shorter version, it just seems not quite the quality verses the price that I paid for this particular item…

I bought this stick as a birthday present for my 86 year old mother who needs support but refuses to use a cane. She loves it, and I found it strong and beautiful.
