I have owned a Brazos root cane for 3 years now and have used it particularly in airports, parks, and anywhere else where I expected to have to walk long distances. I have been considering a walking stick, particularly for " off road" and the twisted hickory stick with the Lee Valley spike seemed to be a perfect combination at a very attractive price.

I purchased the hickory walking stick. The craftsmanship and finish is great with the added inset small medallion, and leather strap. I have received many compliments at the dog park. Very sturdy, really helps steady my wobbly 69 year old body.

The purchase process was fine BUT Customer Service had to help to get the 10% off coupon for new customers. Something is wrong on the web site since the Customer service person said I was the 2nd person today that she had spoken to regarding the same issue. Time to get your web people involved. The service was fine. I placed an order and received a walking stick. The quality of the assembly of the brass top piece to the stick was lacking. Evidently the assembly craftsmen and the quality control person allowed a gap between the stick and the lower brass attachment point. This approximately 1/8 inch gap can be a snag/catch point.

Just ordered a case for my walking stick, thought it necessary as we travel a bit and I want to take it with me and keep it from being damaged. Bravos website is very easy to navigate. Love my stick very helpful in maintaining my balance outdoors.
