Broke my leg (tib/fib) needed a cane for rehabilitation after crutches.. This is solid, non-slip, stylish, very much a pleasure to use both indoors and out. Very strong yet light, would recommend to anyone in need of a load-bearing cane or walking stick.

Great walking stick. Need more size flexibility in cane tips. For the Lee Valley Spike, buy a longer walking stick in case you have to cut some of the length off to ensure of proper fit for the 1" diameter of the Spike.

When I received shipping confirmation, I was expecting my Brazos Walking Stick to be delivered the next day via UPS. Oddly, I received a message from UPS saying the package was ‘damaged’ and ‘empty’. I contacted Brazos W.S. And they quickly rectified the problem and I had my new stick in two days. So, something weird happened with shipping and it was resolved quickly. The walking stick exceeded my expectations. I expected a great looking stick, but what I received is a work of art, in my opinion. Beautiful job! My dad is turning 90 in two months and uses an Upwalker for his one mile walks - but it is cumbersome for travel and not very “stylish” 😎. Being still a dapper gentleman, I thought this cane might work. We measured as instructed (I would have gotten him one that was too short - so do measure as instructed!!). And I picked the walnut - his favorite hardwood. To my delight he takes it everywhere! Very sturdy. Large enough base with solid rubber tip. His posture is better and he feels very comfortable - using it around the house and on the go - and gaining mobility daily. Thanks Brazos
