I ordered and paid for three walking sticks with compass'. All I received was three compass' you can buy these compass' on Amazon for less than $2.00. I did apply for and received a refund without an explanation or offer to make it "right".

What a PERFECT walking stick and what amazing customer service❣ My stick arrived and the compass wasn't working and had a few tiny gaps where it was inset into the stick. I had also noticed that a few of the black template lines had not been sanded out on the stick. Brazos provided a label and I returned it. The artist assigned to reworking my walking stick did a fabulous job (it's always a joy to see and feel the love in a "masterpiece" of a dedicated and passionate craftsman!). This walking stick will become an heirloom in my family. And it will be seen on all the hiking trails of the Monterey Peninsula in California❣ Thank you Brazos... Theresa

I have had two major operations in the last six months: lumbar and hip replacement. I have been using a walker for months. It is useful and convenient, but I confess to disliking the social stigma attached to it. My lady friend bought me a 58" hickory Brazos walking stick yesterday and it is just about perfect! I am 76 years old and am (or was, but intend to be again) an avid hiker. My usual destination is nearby Lake Tahoe with its hundreds of wilderness trails and spectaculr views. You just made that possible again. Heartfelt thanks for your terrific products.

This was my first purchase from Brazos. I've been wanting to take up hiking and after a year of being cooped up in the house due to Covid, I thought now was the perfect time to start! I really wanted a hiking stick - despite friends telling me I didn't "need" one. Seriously, if you can't walk through the forest feeling like Merlin or Gandalf, is there really any point going? I am SO glad I bought this!! It is lightweight, yet very supportive and it looks so cool. The handle is extremely comfortable. On my first hike.. which was a very easy trail, this helped me out a lot! The trail down to the main trail was a little steep for me and this gave me added support. It also came in handy wandering off the trail to step over large branches that were everywhere - and maneuvering through places with lots of rocks - again, better balance and support. I honestly don't know why more people don't use hiking sticks, but I won't go on any hike without this one!
