I could not be more pleased with the tobacco stick. As a kid, I cropped tobacco and remember well the string marks on a well cured stick. Thank you for finding this true Americana artifact and saving it.

I ordered my first walking stick from Brazos and I did it after much research. The order arrived very fast for UPS Ground too. My first walking stick is lightweight. The finish is top notch. The technique of walking with a long stick came naturally as I tried it on a 3.5 mile trail the first time. Going up and down steep terrain with the stick also made me feel more stable. I also used it to break up spider webs across the trail as well. I’m happy I made the decision to buy.

The fitness walking stick arrived with the engraving spelled incorrectly. I had some difficulty finding a contact for the company. Once I did, they were very responsive. They asked me to return the incorrect order (with a prepaid return label) and sent a replacement right away. The replacement spelled the engraving as originally requested. The stain wasn't as dark (for a red colored oak -- looked more brown), and the engraving was larger (not as tasteful). But, they said they had sent red oak and there are variations between stains. The stick itself is beautifully made and I enjoy using it.I would order from Brazos again.

It was very thin.I really wanted something thicker and heavier. Good looking though.

I bought the Hawthorn 55 for a birthday present for my son. It was the exact length they recommended for his height. He loved it and it was exactly the right height. He used it all weekend when we went camping. He was truly pleased with the weight, the sturdiness, the beauty of it. He is really picky about things and he does a lot of research about items he wants. This was on his birthday list and I’m so glad that he loved it as much as he did. It also came super quick and wrapped really safely. Thank you guys for a beautiful product.

This was my first purchase from Brazos Walking Sticks, as well as my first walking stick. I wasn't exactly sure which stick to buy, but all that was settled when I received a notification that BWS was selling a quantity of 50 "limited-edition Red Oak Staff" that survived their tragic warehouse fire back in February of this year. The walking stick, or No. 22 of 50, is unique in that the top part was scorched by the fire, and simply exquisite. While the stick is 2-3 inches shorter than recommended for my height, it is perfect! It has been on several hikes already, including an hour long thunderstorm/ hail storm, so it has survived both fire, and now water!
