KELLY F.
10-Year Customer. Extremely Disappointed in Second Location Onboarding.
Edit: I am waiting for them to help me speed this process up.They have been responsive to my email alerting them I am frustrated. I've been a Booker customer for approximately 10 years and am now opening a second location. I was pushed to sign up for the additional software subscription 6–7 weeks before my opening date, with the contract beginning four weeks before opening. I had to repeatedly ask for the contract to start a month before our opening date, assuming that time was only needed for copying my account to the new location and my personal familiarity with the account. I was offered one month free, but that entire month has essentially been consumed by a ticking clock, with no meaningful onboarding initiated by Booker. It was only initiated after my reaching out to ask what is happening. Yesterday, just four days before opening, I finally accessed my new account (and was given the login credentials) and discovered that my services, employees, memberships, and payment processing had not been set up. I'm only now being prompted to complete essential steps, including obtaining login information and setting up mandatory payment processing. To make matters worse, if I want to speak with someone about how to configure the software, I have to schedule an appointment for a date after my business is supposed to open. What exactly was the purpose of signing me up so early if no one was going to help get the account operational? After 10 years as a customer, I expected a much more organized and proactive onboarding experience. Instead, I've spent my entire complimentary month waiting, and now I'm scrambling to get essential business systems working days before opening, while I have other essential tasks to take care of. I'm beyond frustrated and deeply disappointed in how Booker treats an established customer expanding their business. For context, they have profited at least $27,000 from me just in credit card processing in the last year. You would think there would be a little more hustle.
