First time ordering from them, and I was not disappointed. Ordering a one time gift box is incredibly convenient and shipping was FAST. My sister loved all the items and thoughtful inserts inside too. Excellent product.

I don't know much about Japanese culture, but the snacks, teas, and notes included with every shipment are a lot of fun - and tasty to boot.

I love this subscription. I enjoy the cultural bridge that is provided by Bokksu. The snacks are not typical ones you find in Asian markets ( at least not the ones in Cleveland, OH) . The snacks and teas are themed for season and Japanese regional delicacies. In each box there is a guide to help you pick from the snacks and pair them with tea. I never imagine some guy standing in a warehouse just throwing things in boxes and shipping them to you. The packaging as well as the snacks are a well thought out experiences in every box. Each box arrives well before the due date each month. Inside each box there are plenty of snacks and tea. ( At least 3-4 for each kind. ) The company founder is approachable and friendly. He maintains a very personable side by being available to customers if we have questions or need service in regards to the subscription. He is kind enough to even leave a personalized hand written note in each box. When I originally joined he informed me of the open door policy for leaving a email to him if I have questions in a welcome email. If that is not passion and dedication to this subscription, then I don't know what is. Try it at least once. Check out the theme before ordering. They are on the website and Facebook. You will be hooked!

Unique, tasty awesomeness! This subscription box is just fantastic. My daughter and I just loved it and are looking forward to more! Very high quality, interesting detailed info on each food item presented. We really enjoyed this and would highly recommend!

Best choice I've made with a box subscription! From the very beginning, you can tell that this particular box has its heart and soul into it! Upon subscribing, I received an email from the owner encouraging to contact for any questions or comments. He is quick to respond to emails and has a refreshing outlook on Japanese snacks. He brings the real Japanese culture to your doorstep! Upon shipment, you are very much kept up to date on your parcel. You receive an email when it ships, tracking number, AND they send you a confirmation email when it is supposed to have been delivered. What service! Not to mention the items in the box are with the consumer in mind. A lot of Japanese snacks come of "scary" to the Western audience, but they break down the box and its contents in a manner that make the treats more relatable to the Western pallet, including suggestions on how to enjoy the treats! (e.i. best served chilled or frozen). They also do not skimp on the product, they give you enough to try then enjoy, and the products are in a variety of tastes in order to find something everyone will like! I will continue to partake in these boxes in the future!

I love this box. It doesn't have a lot of junk food in this. It has authentic tea and and biscuits.

Tried out Bokksu due to their distinct choice in what snacks to send out. Nothing junky but not boring either. Everything they send is with consideration of variety, uniqueness, and compatibility with the season it is sent in. They also show evident signs that they are very willing to improve, and the owner of Bokksu is very much involved with this business. Of course, everything came in a timely manner and all the items were safe and delicious to eat. You can tell they put a lot of effort in their work.
