Bokksu Snack BoxReviews of bokksu.com

This is about bokksu market. Took over a month to ship didn’t end up having half of the items I’ve ordered. I got 3 yamibuy orders over the span on waiting for this ordered to ship. Use yamibuy not sponsored so disappointing.

It is an untrustworthy company that sells products with expired best before dates and reiterates that there are no safety issues, just low freshness, texture, flavor, and nutritional value.

The snacks are nice, but that’s it. Customer service is a horrible experience, with aggressive and condescending agents, and their billing practices are scammy. I made sure to go on their website to unsubscribe at the end of my subscription, and was surprised two months later with a renewal charge which they refused to refund because the “box already processed”, even though I contacted them within 4 hours of receiving an email about renewal. My advice if you subscribe, make sure to leave a paper trail of when you cancel because they will inevitably reactivate your account again without warning. Leaves a poor taste in my mouth, will no longer do business with them again.

The service is great. They truly do offer when they claim, HOWEVER, they have a truly scammy purchase policy. If you sign up for a subscription, they claim by saying "billed every 1,3, whatever months" that you are agreeing to have your subscription auto-renewed at that interval. They claim there is no such thing as a one-time purchase and will continually send you boxes and charge you at the interval you signed up for repeatedly. They also save your card information WITHOUT your explicit consent, this is not legal. This is how they are able to auto-renew your subscription over and over. There is not a way to delete your card info OR unsubscribe without emailing the company. They claim on their FAQs that there is, but in practice, those parts of the website mysteriously wouldn't load. I was able to get a refund by threatening to call my bank (implying a charge back or fraudulent charge on my card on their behalf) and telling them I did not give my explicit consent for saving my card info (which was implied I would also tell my bank). They suddenly were able to refund me after saying they couldn't and that this was a "one-time exception". They know they're breaking the law. Don't let them bully you. Email them, be frank. Tell them you didn't agree to auto-renewal (saying something is billed every 3 months is not the same thing as agreeing to auto-renewal) and tell them you didn't give permission to save your card info (I don't even remember the website even giving the option to consent to saving my card info). Don't let them take advantage of you!

Cancelling the subscription is very deceptive. I cancelled, only to find I cancelled the insurance, not the box, so it did not cancel and I was charged for another month. It is difficult to find the cancellation process and the web site takes a very long time to acknowledge. I reached out and they refunded. Overall, pleasant box but not a long term interest.

Worst customer service. If you want a refund for the package just give up. My three months subscription automatically renewed and I tried to cancel it because nothing was sent or was going out for a week. The person who helped me Lorraine is condescending and unprofessional. First she gave me a different price for the refund and she said it will auto subscribers but not the rate I originally had but the full price per box. I’m disappointed for the service and its waste of money and the food if we don’t want it.

I cant get in to the website there just some symbol in the middle thats run from down to up all the time and nothing happens can i get some help here......

It was late I emailed them multiple times but they don't really care. All replies are like standard emails that look the same. Very disappointed.
