Bokksu Snack BoxReviews of bokksu.com

1 year subscription, 3 months in. The box is sturdy so no need for an external box when shipping, the items are good quality and traditional which means the flavours will come through instead of just the cliché sweetness or sugary taste, the texture of the snacks are really nice, they don't crumble and make a mess like cheap ones, it's clear these are artesanal snacks, the drink that have come with it are really good, if you have favourites you can buy them again at their marketplace but unfortunately the shipping of that is a lot so a better shipping option must be found for that one from Bokksus part.

Let’s get this straight. The snacks and teas included are excellent. For example, the Mitarashi Dango Mochi was wonderfully soft, deliciously savory and pleasantly chewy. The design and presentation of each box is superb and well packed. My favorite being the Sakura box for its beautiful watercolor artwork and floral themes. However, I have one complaint: the noticeable lack of value. Each box has about 20 pieces/snacks in total. A majority of those come in small to very small packages. For the price of $39.95 a month (12 month subscription price), I feel more should have been included. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience, but I sensed I wasn’t getting my money’s worth. The site itself is easy to navigate and read. I haven’t used the customer service, but I have left feedback on their products.

Cons: Delivery took over a month, this maybe due to the pandemic. I also has to pay import tax, so no monthly subscription for me. Pros: worth the wait! All snack are really good! The quality of the package and the attention to detail is impressive. I will be making more orders (just not monthly)

Got the seasons of Japan box, and liked it so much I signed up for a full year. I have also purchased snacks from their marketplace: v. nice snack selection.

Worth the wait. Shipping from Japan can be a few weeks but don’t worry the snacks and teas are so worth it. Love the variety and learning about all the places the product was made and about the makers themselves. Awesome gift as well.

Attractive interface, great service, and delectable products! A must to feel Japan even when you're on the other side of the planet!

What a fun subscription box! It definitely reminds me of Japan! Could we have some vegan snack bokksu options? Thank you!

I chose to buy individual snacks instead of the boxed set. I want to give a bigger variety of snacks to family as gifts. All of the products were tasty. Not a single one disappointed me. I appreciate the variety of snacks that were available from different prefectures. I had free express shipping and the package came to the USA in 3 days. The only downside is that the snacks are a bit expensive.
