Bokksu Snack BoxReviews of bokksu.com

Many foods ordered were near expiry. One wasn't expired but was full of mold, which they tried to blame on us despite the package not being opened for the month we had it before opening it to use. Just abysmal customer service, and the food was all bland and just disappointing compared with what we can find at local markets. Even the bokksu exclusives which seemed fancy and neat were just total flops (earl gray candy just tasted like sugar and cream. maple tea had no flavor). All around disappointing.

First box was nicely wrapped and had interesting things plus a neat glass gift. The rest of the boxes in the subscription were not wrapped, had a mix of cheap rice crackers and various gummies mainly in green tea flavors. No gift. Really not worth it.

Bokksu themselves are great and the subscription boxes are excellent, but 2 out of the last 3 shipments have not arrived. This is because they are using Evri to deliver and the shipments just go missing. Bokkusu said they would send another shipment after the first went missing (which was excellent) but I now have no confidence that it will arrive if they use the same carrier in the UK. Such a shame that the excellent product is spoilt by using the world's worst parcel carrier.

The snacks were tasty when I ever managed to receive my box for the month. I had a box never arrive and when I tried to reach out to customer support about it I received no response. Customer support never answered or got back to me. Never going to subscribe to this scam box again.

I subscribed for a 3 month period and the first box showed up fine! All the food was delicious and the box was well packed. Then the second box was confirmed and marked as shipped and sat somewhere for 2 weeks with no shipping updates from their Delivery Partner, I guess it never made it to the USPS. I contacted support and they got a replacement box sent out instead and rescheduled my third month’s box a couple weeks later as well so they didn’t arrive too close together. Cool, happy customer here! Now it’s been 2 weeks since the THIRD box was marked as shipped and the exact same thing has happened again, same tracking and same issue never making it to USPS. On top of that when they adjusted my third box’s delivery date they failed to adjust the billing renewal date so the next $150 charge was already pending before the third box had even started to be shipped. At this point I requested a refund and they were able to assist. I’m going to contact their support again today for the third time in as many months to see about a replacement for box 3 now. Great product, very helpful support, but you have to pull teeth to actually get the boxes to show up at your house, not worth the effort for how much they up charge every item.

Spent about 80 USD on snacks, arrived in a nondescript brown paper box unlike the colourful boxes featured on the website. Sweets were wrapped up in bubble wrap without the original packaging and nowhere does it state the expiry date. I'm trying to ask them about it but have not received any replies from either instagram or email, will update when/if I do. Frankly a little dubious, if I knew there was going to be no expiry date on them I wouldn't have bought it. ===== Update: Managed to get a email reply which says all snacks have a sell by date of 3 months. I don't feel reassured though because that's pretty generalised and I feel like I have no way of knowing if that is true or not. Will not buy again from this place.

I received my third box today and i noticed that the box is getting smaller and smaller. (I kept all three boxes). the snacks are mixed with sweet and savory but normally have more sweets. I don't like all of the snacks and you can tell they are from bulk package and shouldn't be that expensive. I found another website and ordered some snacks directly from Japan and shipped to the UK. Surprisingly, some of the snacks on Bokksu charged double the price!! Overall I'm bit disappointed with the quantities of the snacks and the price.
