The only place where I actually sit with the Dr. for more than 2 minutes and have an in depth talk about my health. Dr. Raskin and staff are great! I can’t believe how much better I feel after getting on bio identical hormones. Thank you Dr. Raskin!

My dealings with Wells pharmacy is…
My dealings with Wells pharmacy is great; however, they are expensive compared to other compounding pharmacies I have used. I have yet to feel important with my doctor and would like to see if there is one contracted closer to me. I dealt with Doctor Anstandig on this program before he retired and I was very pleased with his services and his concern for my health. The costs were much more reasonable and his services extraordinary. Contemplating canceling Bodylogic.

Not my favorite
Not my favorite. I was automatically sent an order I had tried to cancel. They wouldn’t call me back and made it difficult to cancel the automatic orders.
Response from BodyLogicMDJul 8, 2021
Joy, I'm sorry to hear that you had difficulty canceling automatic orders, this is not the reputation BodyLogicMD strives for. Please email me at [email protected] if you are still having trouble and we will get you squared away.

Waste of money.
Waste of money. The actual test aren’t fda approved and it’s just their way of scamming you.
Response from BodyLogicMDJul 8, 2021
Erika, we understand your concern, but as the network of the most-highly trained practitioners specializing in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and integrative medicine, BodyLogicMD utilizes state-of-the-art urinary hormone testing that includes metabolites to show how your hormone levels fluctuate throughout the day. This is much different from testing that would be completed through a conventional physician’s office. Typically, conventional medicine calls for hormone levels to be checked through blood testing – the problem with this is that blood testing only allows the practitioner to see your hormone levels at a certain point in time and it does not show you how the body is metabolizing hormones as the day goes on. BodyLogicMD extensively researched different methods of hormone testing and implemented the use of urinary hormone testing through Physicians Lab so we can continue to provide patients with the most modern healthcare technology possible.

I’m not pleased so far with Body Logic
I’m not pleased with Body Logic so far. They took my credit card and charged me for 2 months right away. I was sent the test kit and returned it immediately. I waited the 10 days, but didn’t hear anything. So at around day 15 I called to find out the results. Nice girl says she’ll check. A few days later I call back, only to be told, “The lab had your results, but they just didn’t send them to us.” Uhh, okay.
So now that they had my results, it was time to schedule the follow up with a nurse (don’t expect to ever see or talk with a doctor.) Well, the first appointment available was about 2 weeks later. No! You’ve had my money for about a month now, I want my appointment now. Not 2 weeks from now. They were able to find me an appointment sooner. At this point about 5 weeks since my first payment. Nurse was nice. Put me on a plan. Great.
Not so fast. The meds took FOREVER to arrive. Like 2.5 weeks later. To top it off, the meds came with ZERO instructions beyond what could be printed on the label. NOTHING about how to draw and administer injections. I wasted about 1/2 vial of one med because I was attempting to draw with the wrong needle. The supplements came with no instructions at all. How many to take? When to take? With food? Who knows. At one point, I went to the patient portal to see if perhaps (surely, right?) the instructions for all of the meds were uploaded there. Well, not really, though on the website the injectable says “intramuscular injection”. But considering the tiny needles I was sent, clearly I’m supposed to inject just subcutaneously. Which brings me to the portal.
DON’T BOTHER USING THE MESSAGE SYSTEM IN THE PORTAL. NO ONE MONITORS THEM.
So my question about the discrepancy regarding the injection still has yet to be answered. Along with all of my other questions.
So, I’m kind of winging it here. Taking life-altering meds with very little information or instructions. I’m past the 2-month mark, but have only been on them for about 3 weeks, so no info on whether they will help. I hope so.
Everyone I talk or email with is very nice. But I just have this lingering suspicion that I’m being played. That this isn’t a reputable business. Who sends medications with ZERO information about uses, side effects, dosing instructions? It just seems very suspicious. Can I really be the only person this has happened to? How is that not standard practice? I guess time will tell if this is legit or not.
Response from BodyLogicMDJul 27, 2021
Aimee, I am very sorry you are dissatisfied with your experience. This is not the reputation BodyLogicMD strives for. My understanding at this point is that you have either spoken with or received email instructions from the pharmacy about how to take your medications. If there is something else going on that you have any concern about please email me directly at [email protected] and I will be happy to help.

As a small business man I understand…
As a small business man I understand monetizing whenever you can but I was very upset when I realized I had to pay, out of pocket, for all my lab work because of he way you craft the request and deny me the right to use my insurance (which would cover it). I felt like I was dealing with a timeshare company.
Response from BodyLogicMDJul 8, 2021
Matthew, thank you for your review. It is our goal to provide transparency to patients prior to the start of their care plan. BodyLogicMD is not insurance based so out of pocket fees do apply. However, depending on your insurance provider, you may be able to utilize insurance for testing purpose. Have you tried submitting your lab receipt to your insurance company? Consultations are out of pocket, but you can ask the physician for a detailed receipt that (again depending on your insurance provider) can be submitted to insurance for possible reimbursement. If you have additional questions feel free to email me at [email protected].
