I signed up with team Beachbody as a favour to a friend who was obviously meeting her quota of signups. She told me how to cancel the membership after I signed up and I followed her directions. To my dismay, a year later I have a charge on my credit card from beachbody for $124.95. I called them to say I had cancelled last year and they told me about auto renewal. I asked them to return my money, but beacause it was just over 30 days they refused. Just refused and kept repeating the 30 day policy. I feel so bad for the telephone workers. This is not a reputable company.

Terrible customer services. Product is over priced and return policy is garbage. I returned my product because I got a little box of protein powder and some pre workout that was over $250! Never expected to receive such a little amount for that kind of money. They don’t even specify the ingredients on the packaging. They never received the shipment so they say and I unfortunately lost the tracking number. So needless to say I’m out that money even though I was dissatisfied with the product.

This is a horrible company. Be very careful when signing up with them. Apparently, in the fine print, you give the company permission to automatically renew your credit card every year whether you want to or not. You do not even get a courtesy email asking you if you would like to continue their service. They just charge you. After 2 years of automatic charges to my card, I finally maneuvered the website to figure out how to cancel. Even though I had not used the service or logged in for over 2 years, Beachbody would still not refund my money. Unfortunately for me by the time the charge showed up on my May credit card statement, my June 27 call to customer service was more than the 30 days allowed for my money back guarantee. I was still charged $100 for the year even though I haven't logged on in over two years. I believe these are called dark charges. A company survives by stealing money. And Vanessa Arguelles is no help whatsoever in their customer service department. Very disappointed in this company.

The worst company ever! They sent me 2 orders of 245$ without me ordering it! I returned them the next day and was told i would get a refund! They didnt refund ! Its been 4 months, 2 months of stealing 245$ from my account without my consent! And then denying that they didnt refund! Sent them my bank statements and everything to prove to them that i didnt get the refund back and they are still denying! I would never recommend them to anyone! The worst company ever who steals money without your consent

Feb 18 2023 - yup, despite their assurances below that I have a free membership status, I am still being billed and this has inexplicably doubled to £72 a quarter. I raised complaints on several occasions with my bank who have written to beachbody to ask them to stop but no changes. I have also written to them from my email account with a cease and desist notice at their mailbag email address with my screenshots asking them to refund the unauthorized charges but true to form they do not respond. EDIT: Yes, I cancelled this via self service. AND THEN STILL CONTINUED TO BE BILLED FOR 15 MONTHS. Your response does not address the fact that money continued to be taken. Or offer a refund. Nor does your response take me to a complaints process as a company is legally required to do - just the frequently asked questions. Please put me in touch with someone who will handle this complaint. ————- Appalling company that continues to take money even after you've cancelled. I have had several payments taken even though it clearly states on my account that I have free membership. I have had to get my bank to block them. Impossible to contact them to discuss any issues so I'll be reporting them to the UK Financial ombudsman. Fortunately I have screenshots of my account dashboard. AVOID.

WHEN it works it is great but their on demand services suck.. constant down time, has to relogin every 5 mins for the program to restart, their IT dept needs to have a damn KPI.. this is unacceptable by any means

At the beginning of Covid April 2020 I signed up for Beach Body so that my daughter & I had some form of workout to do while shut in the house. Today I received $106 charge on my credit card. In October of 2020 I had cancelled all memberships to Beach Body. I called today and said I had cancelled everything in 2020, why am I getting this charge and that they needed to refund it. They said they could refund the charge today but I also learned they charged my card last April as well. They said according to the “paperwork” I filled out. Which I don’t recall filling any paperwork out for my cancellation in October of 2020, they claimed I missed cancelling that part of my membership. They would refund todays charge but not last Aprils charge that I missed on my credit card and apparently unknowingly paid. Again, they stood by “the original paperwork I signed” did not cancel this portion of the membership. I don’t recall signing any paperwork. I was told in October of 2020 a workout app I was no longer using, would still be available to me until April 2021 because I had paid for the year. I was under the impression it would not renew since I cancelled everything. So they company did refund todays charge but not last Aprils charge. This is how these companies continue to make a lot of money, hidden charges in their memberships that make it impossible to cancel. And when you call there are many language barriers that make the phone call take far longer than it should and there is no great certainty that the representative on the other end is fully understanding you as they repeat themselves multiple times. I’m sure they pay these off- shore companies Pennie’s to handle their customer service issues. The whole experience was a time-suck and highly frustrating and a scam.

It did not give me free trial period so had to subscribe for a year. I think the site is very confusing and not user friendly at all. Tried to cancel, but was impossible to do. I request a full refund since I have not used it at all.
