This platform is outdated and…
This platform is outdated and overpriced. If I did it all over again, I definitely would NOT have used boat trader. I used it years ago, and assumed it was still what it used to be. It isn't. There are other platforms, that are free, and provided 10 times the leads. In addition, the free sites provided good leads. 90% of the "leads" on boat trader were just people trying to scam us by having us sign up for a boat history service - they wanted to buy the boat, but needed a history report from a particular site. Waste of time and money.
Response from Boat TraderSep 16, 2026
We’re sorry to hear your experience didn’t live up to what you expected from Boat Trader. The boat history report requests you described are a known scam tactic, and we have systems in place to identify and block suspicious activity, although some attempts can still get through. If you still have any of those inquiries, please forward them to [email protected] so our team can investigate. We’d also be happy to review the activity on your listing and better understand the leads you received. If you’re willing to provide the email address associated with your Boat Trader account, our team can take a closer look.
