If i could rate it ZERO I would. Customer service is next to non-existent, they are clueless if you do get them.. They give caned answers or dont reply at all. I am having the same issues as others i see on here. I reply to a customer inquiry and never hear from the customer. Messages seem to be blocked coming back to me. I tested this with another email address I have and confirmed it.

Waste of money. Fake replies on my boat ad. I cannot get logged back in to update my ad. I have emailed them 5 times with no response. For me, it has been a waste.

If it could be no stars that would better describe boattrader! Total scam! Paid for the premium package to list my boat, the ad is incorrect. After 15 plus emails and over 10 messages left no one will return my calls or respond to my emails to fix the ad. Stole my money and disappeared! Worst platform ever!

Replies to the ad were permanently blocked. I would email boat trader to inquire about replies. They responded once and then stopped responding. When I finally got through by phone they said I had 4 inquiries. I’m still waiting to see who responded. I have had a much better response from Facebook marketplace. Boat trader is a scam. Save your money.

Listing process was pretty clunky. If you want to add a video you have to upload it to youtube first, whereas all other platforms you could just upload it directly. It's very expensive and the basic tier is almost worthless because of how few pictures you get. The price also went up while I was making the listing (literally from one screen to the next) and I had to call for a refund of the difference. Customer service was better than expected about helping me edit and delete the ad but overall I spent $200 to list a boat that sold on FB marketplace. I received zero interest on Boat Trader using the same photos of the same boat at the same price. Complete waste of money.

No one contacted us. They have the worst customer service. I left several messages with "case manager" however her vm sounded like a computer. Don't waste your time. We just got approved elsewhere!

I paid $184 to list my boat. I did NOT choose to AUTO RENEW! Where was that option? I DIDN"T CHOOSE TO AUTO RENEW...guess what? I got hit for a 2nd month for $184! They won't respond to my messages. I WANT A REFUND. Garbage

I honestly don't know how they sell any boats... I'm sure they do, just someone tell me how. After I've reached out on 8 or 9 different boats i wanted to buy, NO ONE has ever contacted me back. It's crazy. You fill out the form online that you are interested in, it gets sent out to someone I guess?... You get an email saying congrats for taking the 1st step and reaching out or something like that, then crickets. Nothing. Sometimes there is a marina listed you can go on and research, most times nothing. I've blocked all Boat Trader email. What a waste of time if you're looking to buy or sell a boat. Stupid.
