We're sorry to hear this — messaging is a core part of how buyers and sellers connect, so a breakdown there is a real problem. We've seen a couple of things cause this kind of gap: sometimes a reply gets flagged as suspicious activity and filtered before it reaches the other person, and other times someone ends up creating a second account without realizing it (often from logging in on a different device with Google or Apple Sign-In instead of their original email), which can split the conversation across two accounts. We've requested more details from you through Trustpilot and would really like the chance to look into your specific account and figure out exactly what happened.

Hi Rob, phishing attempts on listings are something we actively to filter to maintain the trust of our marketplace, so if any of those messages are still accessible, forwarding them to [email protected] helps our team review the accounts behind them. We're also always happy to review your listing and make suggestions on what can help with viability and sale. We appreciate you for sharing.

Hi Robert, every account has the ability to cancel a listing and turn off autopay directly from the app or website, so that option is always there if you need it again. But if it's ever hard to track down, our customer service team can point you right to it or take care of it for you, we're always happy to help.

Hi Richard, we appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about your experience. We'd genuinely like more detail on the "buggy" and "unhelpful support" parts specifically. Please email us at [email protected]

Glad you got it sold, even though we're sad it wasn't through Boat Trader. Price is one factor, but description quality, listed upgrades, maintenance history, and having strong photos all play a real role in how much traffic and interest a listing gets, those are worth a look too as our site attracts high intent buyers who are ready to purchase and know what they are looking for. If a boat's been listed a while without the leads you'd expect, our team is always happy to review it with you and suggest changes. Don't hesitate to reach out if you ever want that support.

Hi Darin, thank you for sharing. We're consistently putting effort into blocking scam leads before they ever reach sellers, since keeping this marketplace trustworthy depends on it, but no filter catches everything. If any of those six inquiries are still accessible, sending them to [email protected] lets our team open an investigation on those specific accounts.
