Boats.netReviews of boats.net

Found the part I needed when no one else carried it. shipping time was ok, especially since Covid has disrupted too much on our country. Parts not available etc, not in stock.. I am waiting on a fuel jug from another site that was back ordered for 4 mos.. so just sayin... I got taken care of fine. rather not hurry through life, as its short... then we die.. Ö

Great prices and awesome shipping. Everything I’ve ordered has been delivered within 2 days. Will continue to order from them

Pay attention! Nearly 25% of the reviews are one star! And the reviews are lengthy and legitimate. My experience is similar to many others. The trolling motor I ordered was in fact not in stock and the few products that were on stock have not shipped after 4 days...

There seem to be a number of comments regarding misleading information on expected delivery times. I am among those who paid extra money for fast shipping and my order status has said it's awaiting UPS pickup for a week. I doubt that's actually true. I have also already been charged. Will not be a return customer.

I always order online without any trouble. Since I live in GA I usually get the parts within 2-3days. I had to return parts only once because I had ordered for the wrong year model. I rarely purchase parts from anywhere else. I recommend Boats.net to all of my friends who own boats. Great pricing and great shipping.

Placed a order on Monday and paid extra to have delivery by Friday. Received email notice that order shipped on Thursday but couldn’t get confirmation on delivery date until Saturday (today). Delivery date is Wednesday which is too late to perform the service work for the coming holiday weekend plans. I am very frustrated that Boats.net set delivery expectations and couldn’t deliver as expected. I took extra time to validate the difference between “order processing”, “shipping” and “delivery date” with my order prior to submitting. Boats.net has cost me a week time now waiting to find out I need to source parts locally and figure out how to now perform service in time. Called Boats.net customer service and they said they were “sorry.” I will be returning the entire order and sharing this experience with as many people as possible in hopes to prevent others from same terrible experience. Boats.net stocks parts, processes orders, sets delivery expectations and ships parts. This is simple, setup business processes to meet the expectations you set or DON’T set the expectations.

I have bought from Boats.net many times and have had a good experience. Helpful staff, average delivery times etc. The past 2 orders however, I have placed with a customer service agent. I was told over the phone that the parts were in stock and would ship out within 24 hours. One part I needed quickly so I even added the 35 bucks on for next day air. This was a Monday and the agent said it would be in my hands by Wednesday. Then I got an update to my order saying that I wouldn’t get my part til June. Unacceptable! You should have a better system in place to know if there is a part actually in your inventory before you tell a customer you have it and it will ship out. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I've been ordering from them for years many many orders I own a auto repair shop and also do major outboard repairs and I have to say every order is on time and any small issue I've had response is immediate I wish my auto parts suppliers were this good
