Boats.netReviews of boats.net

This is another company that has gotten big enough not to care about customer satisfaction, or personal service. You as a customer are nothing more then a number. This Florida commercial account will never buy from boats.net again.

Will never order from this group again! Started on 8/4/26. Ordered part. 4 days on delivery. Started receiving messages later that this part would be available 1 week later. Next week same message. Then I had words with customer service. Then messages said part would be available in 3 days. I asked them to pay shipping. No response of course. Now today received another message part would be available on 8/31/26. Canceled order. No apology. Will be looking for refund. Probably take this group 30 days to do that. They will hold your money as long as possible. Worthless.

They advertise parts online when they’re not in stock you don’t find out two days later after you pay for them A claim was finally filed with a better possess bureau for their website that claims that their prices won’t be paid but when you try to price match, it’s not happening for whatever excuse they could come up with that day

Ordered a fish finder bracket for the bow of the boat, over 100$. Waited and waited for it to arrive. Finally came in and it did not have the bolt on tackle cubby and stainless steel hardware in the box. The description said it came with these items. Texted the number on the website and they wanted me to return the bracket, nothing wrong with it. Just to turn it around and send it with the hardware and tackle bracket. Why not just send me the items I paid for but you didn’t send? I finally give up, guess you don’t get what you pay for here! BEWARE

Was shopping props for my boat and ran across a the perfect prop for my boat at only .$.01! Won the lottery right? So I ordered it and paid the shipping. The description said standard rotation, I received counter rotation. Spoke to someone there and they were to send me the correct prop and I would send the 1st one back. Waited a week and a half, had to cancel a fishing trip to the Gulf that I had been looking forward to. Every time I called, the order was being processed. I sent the other back and 2 days later I received an email saying that they wouldn't supply me with the correct prop- and the reason I got the wrong one was because the description was wrong on the website and they were giving me a refund. The window for my much anticipated trip has passed. The fact that they waited 2 weeks to get the other prop back before telling me they wouldn't replace it with the correct one tells me their ethics are seriously flawed. Anyone who owns a boat is always needing parts. I'll pay double before I order from a company who lies to me.

Beyond rotten place to do business with. Thinking they act like they are from china or something. They put you on hold for long periods hoping you will hang up. Do not buy from this company at any expense.

I purchased a boat part from Boats.net in October for $325. The item was shipped through the United States Postal Service and marked as delivered to my address. However, when I received the package, the box was clearly ripped open and completely empty. I immediately contacted Boats.net and opened a dispute through PayPal since the item was never actually received. Unfortunately, both PayPal and Boats.net have refused to refund the purchase. They are relying solely on the fact that the tracking shows “delivered,” even though the damaged, empty box proves the part was never inside. As a result, I am now out both the $325 and the part I needed for my boat. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, neither the seller nor PayPal has been willing to make this right. I understand shipping issues can happen, but when a customer receives an empty package, basic customer service and fairness would dictate a refund or replacement. The lack of support in this situation has left me very frustrated and disappointed with Boats.net. I would strongly caution other boat owners to be very careful when ordering from this company, especially on higher-value parts. If something goes wrong with delivery, you may find yourself in the same position with no recourse.

Very long "processing and shipping" times, 100% not worth the hassle. Made purchase 7 days ago and usps still doesnt have the package and I paid the extra for "expedited" shipping. STAY AWAY!
