This is the second time I ordered a part that they said was in stock buy actually wasn't and was out of stock and waiting for parts to be made and delivered to boats.com. Both times I received an email after a day or two after placing order that the part wasn't in stock.

The prices are good but it seems difficult to get the items shipped. They claim to have the items but after they are ordered they are now not available.

I found exactly what I needed for a reasonable price, but there was an issue, national backorder, on one of the items and they were going to hold the entire order until that one item was available and they didn't tell me. I would have never ordered that item if the inventory had been correct when I placed the order. So 5 stars on (kind of) having what I needed, 1 star for accurate inventory and 0 stars for keeping me updated on the status of my order.

although I received the correct part for my outboard motor and it fit perfectly, the shipping cost of almost $13.00 for a part that weighed less than a half ounce was outrageous. I tried to find the part locally, but couldn't find it. I wish I had a better option. I was preparing for a fishing trip, and I had no choice but to order the part and pay the crazy shipping cost

The selection of parts available was great. Everything I needed for my project was listed and easy to find on their website. The problem was that nothing was in stock and after several days of watching my order not be filled, I decided to cancel it. It was a little disappointing for there not to be some sort of real time stock indication while I was placing the order.

Web page very easy to navigate and find needed parts, ordering process is simple and easy. Prices are very good. However three out of four orders for Tohatso outboard parts in last two months have had considerable delays of a couple of weeks. Availability date is changed almost daily and pushed forward. So I never know if or when I will get the parts
