After much searching and a couple parts that didn't function correctly, I found the correct part for my exact model of car, and it works properly. During the search, I found that BMWPartsDeal had other parts, some major, available at significantly less cost than other online BMW parts sources.

I wish I could give 5 negative stars! Very upset about my order and especially the customer service! No trying to help, can really tell they’re there to just make a paycheck! Not even let me look into this for you! Don’t buy from them!!! Avoid at all cost! I would have been much better off going to the dealership!

Ring… Ring… Michelle: “How can I....” Me: “Hello, I’m sorry, what was your name again?” Michelle: “How can I help!?” Michelle:“Michelle!” Me: “I’m calling to check the status of an order I placed on August 8. The website gave me an estimated delivery date of August 13–17, and today is August 21. Michelle: “Well, your order will ship out on the 28th!” Me: “I’m confused. Why is it taking that long just to ship when the website said it would be delivered between the 13th and 17th? So when should I actually expect to receive it?” Michelle: “I don’t know… we are receiving it on the 28th.” And that was pretty much the end of the conversation. No apology. No explanation for the inaccurate delivery estimate. No attempt to find out when I might actually receive the product. Just a wonderfully enthusiastic “I don’t know.” If the website is going to provide customers with estimated delivery dates, those dates should at least have some connection to reality. And if there’s a delay, a little communication and basic customer service would go a long way.

Ordered a breather valve and you dont have to be a scientist to blow thru a valve that should be closed to find out it is not closed. Now they want me to have repair shop test it at my expense. Complete incompetence!!! Will have to SUE!!!
Response from BMWPartsDeal.comAug 18, 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration and apologize for the inconvenience. Your RMA has been approved for the breather valve to be returned. Once the return label shows movement in transit, we can proceed with the replacement process. We appreciate your patience while we work to get this resolved. Your feedback is essential for improving our services.

Impossible to get live person for help. To get access to Chat, must have a 17 character VIN. Older cars (1974 BMW 3.0CS) only has a 7 character VIN. Very frustrating!!! I do like that they have access to some hard to find parts, however.
Response from BMWPartsDeal.comAug 12, 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be when our VIN requirements don’t work with older vehicles. Our VIN system is designed around modern VIN formats, so older vehicles may require additional assistance to identify the correct parts. We’re glad you were still able to find some hard to find parts through our site, and we appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve the experience for older vehicles. Your feedback is essential for improving our services.

I would recommend fabricating your own parts, If BMWPartsDeal.com was the last parts dealer on earth. Customer service is horrible, you can't speak with anyone, RMA process is trash, and they don't provide clear directions or instructions regarding their intentions to go above and beyond for customers. Buyer beware!!! Unless you know with certainty the item you're seeking, I would recommend and alternative provider with better communications and customer service. For example, when I ordered my parts from BMW AutoNation (out of Dallas,) they actually called me to confirm the part fit my vehicle and reviewed their return process with me. Even more importantly, cost for my particular product was actually a little less. BMWpartsdeal's policy is their policy. Don't expect them deviate from it all. Upon seeing my initial negative review, they said they wold consider excepting my return. So I, spent the time and money returning the parts. Only to find out they would not accept the return and I have to pay to have them return the parts to me; despite the fact that the parts were returned unused in their original individual boxes. (Full disclosure: I did use an old Amazon box to keep both individually packed items in their original packaging together for shipping purposes.) This experience has taught me there are much more reasonably affordable options out there. Just keeping it real and sharing my personal experience. Mark W

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. Our team made every effort to assist you throughout the return process and even reviewed your request as an exception. However, when the returned items were received, they were no longer in their original manufacturer packaging and showed signs of having been used. Because of their condition, we were unable to accept them for a refund in accordance with our return policy. We understand this was not the outcome you were hoping for, but our policies are in place to ensure fairness and consistency for all customers. Your feedback is essential for improving our services.

I would not recommend buying from this company unless you’re prepared to wait much longer than the advertised delivery time. Don’t rely on the shipping estimates—they were not accurate in my experience. What made the experience even more frustrating was that the company created a shipping label but didn’t actually ship the package for another 48 hours. Receiving a shipping notification made it appear that my order was on its way, when in reality it hadn’t even been given to the carrier. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and I will not purchase from this company again. I would encourage potential customers to consider other retailers if timely shipping and good customer service are important.
