I Feel like I was well over charge by blue pearl
My French Bulldog was there for about 24 hours and they charged me $2,427.20 and did not call me and let me know the prices that they was going to charge me on each items. They did not give me the choice of telling them i did not want this done to my dog for that price.

Horrible death
Great dogs in our life, but our 8year old yellow athletic Lab was the best. July 7th he threw up, our regular vet, hearing the symptoms, recommended a Vet hospital. I called PVSEC (Blue Pearl) to notify we were coming July 8th and we arrived at 1:45 pm. First thing, have us authorize $2,000.00 on our credit card to take him in the building. 5 Hours Later, they said he needed more tests & probably surgery. We authorized another 3,000.00. Our healthy boy had never needed anything but routine vaccinations before. On the afternoon of the 8th, about 28 hours after they admitted him they operated, removing his spleen and a benign mass. We requested and paid more $ for an extra night of monitoring for him. The vet post-surgery told us it went well. Saturday we all came home. He tried to eat and drink, but not much stayed dow Sunday early my husband went down to our front hall where the dog bed was. Our Lab tried to stand but his legs collapsed out sideways from him. There was no time to get him anywhere. He fought for every breath for 20 minutes, but his tongue turned black and all the life left his eyes. It was a horrible death for our brave, gentle dog. 16 hours after they released him.Repeated calls afterwards to PVSEC for support and explanations yielded “We are short-staffed” or Covid has us extra busy”. It was a terrible experience with a heartbreaking outcome. PVSEC/ Blue Pearl is part of a multi-national company. Please choose carefully when seeking emergency care for a pet you love.

When we arrived we knew exactly what…
When we arrived we knew exactly what was wrong with our pet. We told the staff and waited for four hours for our cat to be seen. The vet tech looked at our cat and said they couldn’t do anything about it. We were confused since we had told them what we were there for and what we needed, the vet then proceeded to text another vet specialist for a second opinion. The nurses seemed wholly unconcerned, even stating “well specialists are only here until 5-6”, which again would’ve been fine, since we could’ve gone to another ER if we had known that soon arrival. Instead half a grand later... Our pet was not better and literally we just paid someone to look at our pet, confirm our suspicions about their symptoms, and then say we would have to come back during 9-5 but we still had to pay a giant bill (2x). The staff was friendly enough, but I would suggest taking your animals to another ER.

It's All About Money, You Will Be Ripped Off Befor You Step in.
You will be ripped before your pet is admitted !!! these guys are not animal lovers , they make you sign admission documents , and then start billing for things that no guarantee that is ever been done to your pet!!!
they run unnecessary tests which at the end they only prescribed a simple Antibiotics. They have to be ashamed for over charging .

If I could give no stars I would but it…
If I could give no stars I would but it seems to be the only way to be able to write a comment on this site I will start off by saying I was totally disappointed with the services that Bill could have pay someone’s rent the nurse was upright rule with me when it was time to make the payment I had to get her straight I would never take my dog back to blue pearl and it was in Houston Texas Actually Spring Tx. but that’s neither here nor there they keep my dog for hours And I understand that we couldn’t go into the hospital because of Covid but we call more than 4 to 5 times just to be put on hold I feel like they was holding my fur baby for hostage money she only needed x-rays which cost me over $400 they are about money not the animal I was so glad to do a follow up visit with her regular veterinarian yesterday because they do give a damn about her if you care about your animals do not take them to that animal hospital please

Glory my beautiful, best dog on earth, is sick: she wouldn't move, eat, or even look up at me. I took her to my regular vet who said that she had pancreatitis AND a platelet problem that she and a pathologist she consulted decided was probably Leukemia. She sent me to BluePearl Pet Hospital in Irvine Ca where they could do an ultrasound and had Oncology specialists.
Dr. Kyley N. Olson took Glory in to the hospital. She said that she needed to see bone marrow aspiration. When I decided that I didn't want to subject a 14 year old dog to painful procedures, she sent Glory home at 10 PM with a $900 bill. After I got home I got the invoice for the bill in an email. It included:
Cyclosporine (Atopica) 50mgCaps(15ct) Dr. Kyley N. Olson, DVM 2.00 $186.89
Cyclosporine (Atopica) is given to combat itching and rashes.
She has not been Itching. She didn't scratch before Dr Olson saw her; she hasn't scratched since I got her home, and I haven't given her the Cyclosporine (Atopica).
Glory has Leukemia and Pancreatitis. She still lies on the floor without moving, doesn't want to eat. She does drink and will go out to pee. She doesn't scratch.
But Dr Olsen and BluePearl got my $186.89. Glory got nothing.
Absolutely do not go to BluePearl in Irvine Ca.
Do not let Dr. Kyley N. Olson, DVM anywhere near your pets.

I will NEVER go to Blue Pearl emergency…
I will NEVER go to Blue Pearl emergency vet again! You told me when I called ahead that it'd be an hour wait. You didn't mention there was no waiting room. We waited for 3.5 hours in my car with NO updates at all. Finally, I called and spoke to the vet who had my puppy's age and symptoms wrong despite my clearly stating what was going on.
My poor baby was in a kennel feeling stressed for over 3.5 hours. I brought her in because she's been lethargic and didn't eat today and had diarrhea once. You only aggravated her symptoms. Then you recommend hospitalization for a puppy who hadn't eaten and had one instance of diarrhea?
Finally, we had recently bathed her and she smelled sweet going in. I don't want sort horrendous environment you kept her in inside, but she STUNK when you returned her to me.
Not only will I NOT recommend Blue Pearl, I intend to let everyone with a pet know about my experience.
