SHADY SHADY SHADY.
Choice Hotels redirected me to them, and they made it sound like you had to have your credit card on file to be able to use your choice hotels privliges. Hop on the phone and next thing i know i get a confirmation of my vacation nights including the charge they ran on my debit card. Honestly, this is shady of them, as well as Choice Hotels. I wonder if Choice even knows how awful people like this makes them look. Guess ill choose other hotels to stay with, and file a chargeback on these shady D-bags.

Stay away from Bluegreen Vacations. This complaint is to warn everyone of…
This complaint is to warn everyone of Bluegreen Vacations for misrepresentation and financial
harm. We paid significant money based on explicit promises made during the sales
presentation, but none were fulfilled. We did not receive the product or service we were
promised, and the reality of the timeshare is completely different from what was sold to us. What
they informed us apparently was different from what’s on the contract. By the way, it’s many,
many pages, tiny writing, and long papers. They expected us to read all that in a short amount
of time! During the sales pitch, the representatives explicitly told us that buying this timeshare
was a solid investment that would appreciate in value over time like traditional real estate. This
was untrue. Additionally, they told us our maintenance fees would never increase. In reality, the
maintenance fees continuously rise and create a financial burden we cannot afford. The ongoing
experience has been frustrating. Scheduling is nearly impossible due to a severe lack of
availability. Because I do not own a high number of points, I only have access to leftover slots
that often result in no availability because everything is already booked. On one occasion, I
arrived at a resort after receiving a booking confirmation, only to be told that no reservation
existed. Furthermore, removing my late wife's name from the deed was burdensome and
required paying a $500 fee. That’s crazy!
The financial strain of this unfulfilled contract is severe. The proposed fee to terminate our
account equals 30 months of maintenance fees! This amount is unreasonable and unaffordable.
Bluegreen Vacations used high-pressure tactics to sell us false promises, and they continue to
demand escalating fees for a product we cannot use. Stay away from Bluegreen!

Got suckered into 3 night 4 day stay
Got suckered into 3 night 4 day stay, ( which we chose San Antonio TX.), that also supposedly included a week long cruise.
Jessica at Bass Pro, (San Jose, Ca.), did a great job selling the product. We were just the suckers that bought into it. When I called to make hotel reservations, everything changed. The location that we were assured was false. No “Hilton” hotels were part of the package. Only Home 2 Suites, and the one by the Riverwalk, we had to pay an upgrade fee. Well, this went on for about a half hour with false information. I called Jessica at Bass Pro and said she was full of crap. “Sorry you feel that way”, is all she could say.
Bass Pro is ruining there reputation by partnering with Bluegreen. They need to break there ties with them. I did get a refund.

Stop Offering Us Options, We Just Want Out!
Bluegreen keeps offering alternative options that do not work for us, and nothing has changed. We don't want temporary fixes or more sales talk, We just want a complete way out of our contract.
When we signed up, a promotional offer turned into a high-pressure sales pitch full of false promises about air travel, flexibility, and an easy exit. A representative even showed his personal bank account to convince us. None of it was true. We are stuck with rising maintenance fees, booking restrictions, extra costs, and mortgage payments for something we can't use. With medical issues, a fixed income, and a struggling business, we can't carry this burden. Stop pointing to fine print and let us end this contract.

What a terrible experience!
What a terrible experience. We signed up and paid for the promotional 3 day vacation at BasPro. We eventually had to do the 3 days at Hotel - Lodge At Shenandoah Crossing or loose the payment that we had already made. To do this my wife chose to take a friend who was willing to travel with her and sit through the presentation as I had to stay home to care for our dog as the Hotel is not pet friendly. They booked them in at the hotel and my wife explained that I couldn't make it - she paid more money required for the hotel booking, no problem. The next morning arriving for the presentation things went absolutely insane. The staff started shouting at my wife because we signed a contract and I have not joined her. They were so aggressive and disrespectful telling her that she forfeits all the benefits that we paid for, for the stay. My wife's friend respectfully asked what can be done to redeem the situation. The staff member retorted aggressively that they needed to leave or pay the full rates for the stay. My wife's friend said fine here are my credit card details - the staff member was so disorientated that she couldn't even get the details down. Added to this was how terrible the Hotel accommodation was - no sufficient amount of plug outlets in the room, the room phone didn't work, cobwebs, the room lacked basic maintenance, empty shower soap dispensers and when reported to the front desk - no room care. Absolutely, unprofessional sales, hotel management and hospitality.

Bluegreen Vacations-Bluegreen is greedy!
I talked with Bluegreen customer service recently about cancelling my account and ending my contracts. They told me that to exit, I have to pay two full years of maintenance fees, even though I was current. That is completely impossible for me. I am a retired teacher living on a fixed income, and my husband passed away two years ago. Every single year the maintenance fees go up by a huge amount, which is why Bluegreen ownership is not feasible or sustainable anymore. Giving back properties I already paid for in full should not cost me two additional years of fees. With that impossible option, I chose to stop paying Bluegreen altogether. Let's hope that will make them want to cancel me.

Not what it seems ...
Don’t let them fool you into buying a timeshare. Buying into Bluegreen is like falling for an incredibly expensive magic trick where the illusion of flexible vacations vanishes the second you sign the contract. They will tell you that it’s easy to book trips and that fees will be minimal but it’s simply not true. Unless you can map out your life a solid year in advance, you will never get a room at the resorts you actually want to visit. Bluegreen uses these issues as a way to sell you on upgrades. just book a regular hotel.

Bluegreen Timeshare Creates Hardship not Happiness
Here is the reality when dealing with Bluegreen:
1. High-pressure sales tactics: During presentations, multiple representatives tag-team to push
the deal, appealing to your emotions and talking over one another. They heavily stress
limited-time promotions to cloud your judgment and dismiss any request to take time to think it
over, completely ganging up on potential buyers.
2. Severe financial hardship: Annual maintenance fees steadily climb each year, which,
combined with the ongoing monthly payments, turns owning one of their timeshares into an
overwhelming financial burden.
3. Deceptive and confusing points structure: Despite their promises of worldwide travel, there
are never enough points available to book a stay where or when you actually want. The points
provided are practically unusable, yet you cannot roll over or save unused points without paying
an extra fee.
4. Misleading claims about the Hilton merger: They made false claims regarding perks such as
Hilton Honors access and using points for hotel bookings. After being told our initial points were
sufficient to join Hilton Honors, we were later informed we lacked enough points and had to
purchase more.
5. Subpar accommodations: The property quality falls short. For instance, a recent stay in New
Orleans felt like a quick cosmetic fix rather than a properly maintained space, looking cheap and
well below expected standard
