I have 6 Gen 4 outdoors and have tried every 1.5 lithium battery and have never gotten a full month without the batteries going bad in each. The fact that you can not use rechargeable batteries is bullshit.

After needing a replacement doorbell 2nd Gen, I was sent another doorbell within 2 days vis UPS,only to open it and find it wasn't even completely assembled, it was missing parts that should have have been attached at the factory. Well after talking to a number of agents and assured one would be sent to replace the second one I'm still waiting after a full month on the 3rd doorbell. At this point I really don't expect to ever get my replacement. Needless to say dont over expect when it comes to blink customer support cause they are worthless...

Also es gibt bessere Systeme!! Ich habe mir bei den Prime Days ein System mit 4 Outdoor 4 und einer Mini-Kamera geholt. Tagsüber kann man sich über die Bild Verhältnisse nicht beschweren. Die Probleme tauchen erst bei veränderten Sichtverhältnissen auf. In der Dämmerung und bei Dunkelheit ist teilweise sehr schlecht bis gar nichts erkennbar! Auch der Aufbau eines Live Bildes ist grottenschlecht!! Teilweise dauert es mehrere Sekunden, bis hin zu gar nicht, bis man was sieht. Da ist dann teilweise alles gelaufen. Das liegt, meiner Meinung nach, am Sync Modul. Das ist viel zu Schwach! Die weit entfernteste Kamera steht 10m vom Modul entfernt und hat ein schwaches Signal. Dazwischen sind nur 2 Regibswände und eine Zigelwand. Fazit ist das ich mir ein anderes System anschaffen werde, weil das hier lohnt sich definitiv nicht.

The doorbell burns through expensive lithium batteries every 4 weeks. It catches the mailman and, at most, 2 other videos a day on average. The blink customer service is worthless to address this issue, they just make an excuse like the camera is catching 40000 videos a day!

This morning I came across a video clip (from yesterday at 11:41 pm) from one of my Blink cameras showing a thief trying to break into my cars. I installed 5 Blink cameras a few years back after thieves stole the catalytic converters from my Toyota Prius. I set up 2 cameras in my driveway and also another camera a little farther away, which covers my doorway as well as the same driveway. I arranged a floodlight in my driveway. But to my surprise, only one of the driveway cameras captured the event for only 4 secs while my default video clip setup is for 15 secs. No other cameras captured the event. I called their tech support to figure out and fix any issues I had with my settings and faced a horrible experience. After granting access to my system, she started reading from their general FAQ statements and was unable to help me out. I asked for her supervisor, but in vain. Overall, I am very sad and frustrated for investing in Blink, but not getting the basic support while I pay them annually for their premium subscription.

Don't ever buy a used camera. I got one of the garage sale from someone who is moving, and I cannot connect it to my system because it is still registered under the other person's account. Blink has their email, but will not give it to me (understandable) so I can get the customer to verify that he sold me the camera, and they will not contact him themselves (completely not understandable) so they can confirm that he sold it to me. Customer service with Blink is a contradiction in terms.

We had nothing but problems with blink cameras and won’t let it store to local storage. We called many times and I just called again and the girl hung up on me. Returning all the blink cameras what a waste of time and money. Horrible customer service.
