Bj's Wholesale Club Brand Wellsley Farm Colombian Supremo mediun-dark roast whole bean coffee (Revisited) This is a review of the Wellsley Farms single origin Colombian Supremo whole bean coffee medium dark roast. This coffee is only available at Bj's wholesale club. At the time of testing I purchased this 40 ounce bag of coffee for $14.99 or 38 cents/ounce. The packaging was updated and first rate with a re-sealable mylar/foil bag with the standard one way de-gassing valve. The bag claimed to contain 100% Arabica, Colombian Supremo beans roasted to a medium-dark. The bag also had a basic set of brewing and storage instructions. No other Information about the coffee inside the bag was given. Upon opening the bag I found coffee beans that appeared to be of high quality with no defects. The beans were slightly oily and in my opinion to a perfect medium dark. The beans had a very pleasant semi sweet nutty/chocolaty fragrance. Upon brewing this coffee I started with my normal 67 grams of coffee with 1.2 liters of filtered water in a Cuisinart DCC 3850 Perfect Temp automatic drip coffee maker. I tried different grind levels of my normal medium to one click finer and two clicks coarser. my best results came at about 875 microns which on a Fellow Opus grinder is setting 8. The result was coffee that had a pleasant roasted nut/cocoa aroma while brewing and a brew that had typical Colombian flavors in my opinion. This coffee had almost nonexistent acidity, smooth fairly balanced coffee flavor with a decent mouth feel and a lingering burnt dark cocoa powder aftertaste. I will say comparing this Colombian coffee with my go-to Eight O'Clock Colombian Peaks medium roast, the Wellsley coffee is a bolder brew not as balanced with a slightly bitter finish. The SCA which is the governing body for coffee states that a cupping score of 80 and higher is a specialty grade of coffee. Using their scoring system I would rate the coffee at 87.5. This coffee rating is only my opinion. A lot of people will like the flavor of this coffee...I did but would have preferred a slightly lighter roast. Roasting the coffee that dark takes away a lot of the subtle nuances and flavors of single origin coffee beans. This coffee is recommended for people who enjoy darker roasted bolder coffees, and at 38 cents/ounce is an excellent value.

I have been a BJ'S member since they opened in Medford MA many years ago. I now live in Florida and still shop at them. The pluses are diverse product lines, deli counter, gas and diesel fuel, extended hours, and able to to use manufacture coupons. I use their app and it makes shopping easy! You can clip coupons, actually scan products as you shop and pay, order ahead and pickup later (including deli), and now they deliver. The prices are fair and yes if you do comparison shopping sometimes their prices are not the cheapest. I shop at Costco and their prices are compatible usually within a penny or two, again when Costco puts out the monthly sale sheet they can be $ cheaper. Like any retailer it all depends on the deals they negotiate. I do purchase certain products at Costco because BJ'S does not carry them or price is substantially cheaper. In my case, I can do all my weekly shopping because of their diverse product line compared to Costco. Drawback, BJ'S changed their supplier on certain fresh bakery goods and they just aren't as good. Try fresh bagels, delicious! To all the haters out there, I don't care what retailer you shop at, you can always run into store personnel that aren't the friendless or capable of handling of a problem. I would not disparage a whole company because of a negative experience with personnel. Some people are not cutout for retail or customer service jobs, period. As for Sam's Club, I did try them and I feel they're just a glorified Walmart. Bj's is now carrying Air Chief Autumn Crisp green grapes that are super fresh and absolutely delicious. Bring back this name brand next year!

I can highly recommended, it was lovely, my little dog was very relaxed when she came out , I was surprised as she's very nervous 🐕. Also I really like the pick up / drop off system I was very pleased with the results. Price wise was reasonable I highly, highly recommended Maria Craig

I saw Bo at the customer service desk today. I commend your employee for her wonderful help and going beyond her job to help me. Bo is an outstanding employee and a definite asset for your company. Her outgoing personality and friendliness is so very much appreciated.

I'm writing this review on the BJ's club in Conyers Georgia. I always shop at this store. The customer service is always good but, today 8/20/2026 the customer was outstanding. I wanted to complement one employee that I had contact with twice while we were shopping. Ms. Jada in the conyers Ga store was amazing. She was polite, she thanked us for shopping at BJ'S. After we left the store. I went to the BJ'S gas pumps and after I finished pumping my gas, I needed a receipt and walked over to the window. There was no one there. I waited a few minutes and all of a sudden Ms. Jada walked. She asked how she could help? I told her I needed a receipt and she made a call on her radio. The clerk returned and Ms. Jada went inside and she printed the recipe I need. Ms. Jada is the kind of employee that every company wants. Please pass on a big thank you to Ms. Jada

I used the online ordering option for a Mega Chef Hot/Cold water dispenser. It arrived prompty, with plenty of shipping notice to follow timing of delivery. The product was everything the discription discribed. We are very happy to house this attractive streamlined water cooler in our place. Highly recommend this product.

I had placed a large deli order for July 25th. When I went to pick up the order, it had been misread, and there was only 1 platter out of 4 ready. The team at the deli worked quickly and efficiently to fix the error. Sometimes, things happen. I really appreciate that they had my order finished in a timely manner and with smiles! I wish I had gotten their names. They were great!
