Update: I am still somewhat positive on Bittrex.com. Charles Hoskinson explained that the problem Bittrex.com is experiencing with Cardano Ada deposits and withdrawals has to do with their early adoption of Cardano Ada and the code that was then available does not scale for Bittrex wallet size and amount of "business" and that the Cardano team is working with Bittrex to find resolution. I am not discounting the other horror stories here but my experience with Bittrex.com has been good and I need to bump up to 4 stars - the only reason for not all 5 are the scary reviews here and the fact that Cardano Ada (through no fault of Bittrex) still can't be withdrawn. I converted to bitcoin and stored it safely. Previous review Binance.us locked my account after I registered my passport and all other private info and their support would not help, so... I gave up on binance.us, executed a few transactions on bittrex and was generally happy except they haven't been able to withdraw Cardano ADA since the "Shelley" upgrade over a month ago. Anyway, I didn't see these horror stories about bittrex until now and it seems to me people had the same lousy experience with bittrex that I had with binance.us. I was somewhat happy about bittrex but now I don't know.

Sent an unsplit bitcoin cash token to them expecting to get a BSV token too. Nope. I knew that they weren't allowing trading of BSV, didn't expect the coin to just disappear. V. disappointed. Would be v. keen to know where the BSV went. Also transferred BCH to Binance, they processed as I expected ie the BSV token appeared. Have cleared my Bittrex account, taken my business elsewhere.

My nephew opened his account in 2016 when verification was NOT mandatory according to the TOS. He used the exchange for a while and made just a couple of trades, then he never accessed his account until 2018. Then he found out the account was disabled without notice and by absolutely no reason! As he asked for some explanation, they answered that in order to unlock the account and release his funds he had to submit his personal data and documents for identity verification. Meanwhile, they announced a change in the exchange TOS which introduced mandatory KYC verification. Then my nephew answered he would NOT accept the TOS change and asked to withdraw his coins and close the account, without verification. Now they refuse instead to release his fund and keep demanding verification before allowing him to close the account! That's totally illegal and against the customer's right to reject any unilateral change, and close the account on the same conditions agreed on opening the account! They deserve not but being sued for scam and embezzlement: beware and stay away from this bunch of SCAMMERS!

I have only been able to get 1 of almost 50+ transactions to be successfully completed. My bank has continuously provided me with the Bank's Authorisation Codes. The Bank has also now provided me with Bittrex's Cancellation codes for 2 of my transactions. The bank has said what Bittrex is doing is a no no because as soon as the Bank Authorises the transactions then Bittrex should fairly immediately show them as pending. Questioning what Bittrex is doing with the funds before they actually cancel the transactions or just say unsuccessful. I have spent over 8 hours today and still did not get a single successful transaction through despite the bank confirming that they have Authorised my transactions and it did not matter that this was a Digital Currency Exchange which I was in fear that it would possibly be the reason why so many problems but the Bank has said they have been okay with it and it is Bittrex with the problem. I have not yet gotten a satisfactory explanation from Bittrex, an apology or a human being to explain what is happening. This is extremely poor service and if I could give less than a 1 then I would.

The worst exchange. Submit NEM to exchange to sell. I didn't leave a 'message' which I admit is my mistake so it took them a whole 4 months to process. By way of comparison Binance takes 1-2 days to process deposits without unique messages. Meanwhile NEM crashed from $2 and I only received my tokens when it was $0.15 (months later). I wonder what they did. Do not use at all, they will steal your tokens, reimburse you when they are worthless, and ignore all tickets for months on end. If you use this exchange, you will likely pay for it.

They just stole my funds without giving me a chance to transfer them to other wallet. insane

Thieves stole thousands from my friend. Someone please sue them
