One of the earliest exchanges that allowed you to trade DOGE. Unfortunately withdrawal limits were very low and this made me jump ship. If only I still had my DOGE from back in the days.

Reference ticket 3100527 I opened an account with Bittrex on 17 November 2022. No problems. I slowly added usd, bought ETH, and after their holding period sent it to my external wallet. On 22 December my account was abruptly closed leaving 22k in the account. On 27 December, I had an on line video interview with Perci. I have had zero feedback since. I would like to withdraw my funds while they conduct their review. And have requested this numerous times without any reply or acknowledgement of my msg. The commitment of their CEO Richie Lai is "all customers assets are always, and will always be available for withdrawal by that customer". Obviously this is not respected by the staff. Customer support is polite but not helpful since they say they can not interact directly with the "specialists " who are dealing with my disabled account. Bottom line: in the absence of any time frame when my account review will be completed, I would like to sell and withdraw my funds or withdraw my crypto directly from my account

This exchange has a lot of altcoins and has been around for some years. It's decent and fairly safe. It's just an unbelievable hassle to get KYC-verified and if you are a bigger crypto player, they will ask an insane amount of information like proof of source of funds etc. Takes a LOT of time and trial and error to go through this process. For small holders, this is a good exchange.

I like Bittrex because of the amount of different coins it supports. Being said that, their fees are a little bit salty in comparison with other exchanges. Another thing I would like to point is they disable certain coins for maintenance without any info beforehand as no info when the maintenance will be completed. It's rather annoying as you can't count on them the slightest.

Well, I have been using Bittrex/Bittrex Global for several years. I was an American expat living abroad. Due to the pandemic and the timing of my travels, I have been stuck in the US. Because Bittrex Global does not serve clients located in the US, they disabled my account with my funds in it. Having no job, and a wife and child to with no income, I desperately needed those funds, and I made my situation known to them. After months of back and forth with them giving me lame excuses and telling me to "please be patient", I thought they straight up stole my money. Holding people's money for that long is probably illegal, and I was considering contacting The FBI-cyber crime division. However, they suddenly contacted me last week and enabled my account. To call them a scam is a stretch too far, but they really need clean up and speed up how they deal with customers. Furthermore, there is so much bad publicity for Bittrex Global at the moment. Because of my past good experiences with them, I do believe that they are a decent company overall. But, for the sake of their business, it would behoove them to fix the dismal customer service situation. As for the future, they do have a lot of good coins and apart from this experience, I had never a problem with them in the past. I will probably use them again in the future, but I will NOT be keeping my funds on their platform.

If you play by their rules, provide them all the kyc documents and answer their questions, you'll receive all the coins. Support can take a long time before they respond.

@Bittrex Team, please address each of these negative reviews. Silence from Bittrex is damaging.

Not the best alternative to Binace. Relatively high fees and exhausting verification process make Bittrex a questionable choice.
