Lotsa Fun
Pretty easy to set up and install on my pole feeder. Easy refill. The small solar panel keeps the device charged, even with a series of near-zero, cloudy, days. (be sure the plug is VERY firmly inserted for the solar panel (or wall charger) to operate properly) It's right on the edge of my router range, so sometimes I get videos and most times not. I don't mind, since the small number of stills I get from each non-video capture are much easier than having to try to use a video editor to grab frames. Someday I'll upgrade my router. Until then, this thing is great. Also, the resolution upgrade that was recently pushed out really gives you sharp images. Friends enjoy my shares.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear that the setup and refilling were easy for you, and that the solar panel is keeping the device charged even through cloudy, near-zero days — and thank you as well for the helpful tip about firmly inserting the plug. We also really appreciate your understanding regarding Wi-Fi range. You’re absolutely right that still images can often be more convenient than video, and we’re glad the recent resolution upgrade has made those captures even sharper for you. It’s wonderful to know that you and your friends are enjoying the shared moments — that’s exactly what Birdfy is all about.
