Legit reservation but stressful
I booked three nights at an all-inclusive hotel. Despite reading a lot of negative comments I thought I would give Billabook a chance. It has been almost 20 hours and still have not received confirmation of the booking but I am down 800 usd in my bank account. This is so stressing since I am supossed to land in a foregin country and I don't know whether I have a place to sleep. Should I book with another company and then risk having two bookings for the same days? It is a lot of money to throw away! Update: Billabook confirmed the reservation the day after. It seems like the same process other people described above happened: I wrote a bad review and 10 min after it was published they contacted me via email asking me to rectify it. They were very insistent and borderline annoying with this. If they put all that energy into making sure the bookings are confirmed automatically instead of reacting once people write bad reviews, they would have a way better score.

Dear Lautaro. Thank you for your feedback. Due to a timeout error with our supplier, your booking did not go through immediately and required manual processing. However, we ensured that your confirmation was sent within 2 hours after the booking was made. For transparency, we have re-forwarded the original confirmation email sent to you. We strive to ensure that the booking process goes smoothly, and we are continuously working to improve our systems to prevent such delays in the future. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to the opportunity to serve you better in the future.
