been going to the store and also checking online for s specific patio set to become available. The website continually saying not available until this week and then it showed 4 available. went to store to purchase and they had none and never had. store personnel says no one keeps up with website yet someone had to change it from none available to 4. very disappointing

I ordered a sectional sofa. Big Lots charged me twice. I called customer service and was told that my money would be returned to my account in 3-4 business days. It never happened and I am still waiting. I will never order from them again. A lot of apologizing but no resolve.

Purchased a Broyhill couch with a extended warranty through big lots. I was informed by the manager of the store where I purchased the warranty that would cover everything if the dog tore the cushion if I spilled something on it anything. Well not even six months after I purchased this couch the fabric started to peel really bad, so I called about this extended warranty and was told pilling was not covered. I strongly suggest that big lots schools their employees and this warranty that they are pushing and selling and lying about. I was told this was the best warranty ever it covers anything, anything that happens to my couch in the next three years will be covered this was an extra ordinary warranty all I can say is it’s a BS warranty. RunRun run run from big lots and Broyhill the quality is awful.

So incredibly disappointed with the customer service provided by Big Lots. Ordered a couch online and waited WEEKS for it. When I tried to use the tracking number, it was invalid. Called customer service and they said it was lost in a warehouse and it would be handled in a few days and that I would get a call back. Never did. Called again, the case had not even been investigated. Asked for a refund and was told it would hit my bank within 3-5 days... never did. Called back again and the refund had not been processed. This is after multiple attempts to contact customer service and being hung up on.

Big Lots is Big Joke! So disappointed. No wonder the company had a 2.3 rating out of 5. That is a failing grade ! Today I had that experience. A company should not advertise a big Memorial Day Weekend sale if you don’t have the product. That is false advertising. I was told it was the nature of their business when I purchased an item online and was later told it was not available anywhere in the US. Are you kidding me ? Even after this they still have the item advertised with availability at locations that do not have inventory which will disappoint other customers as well. Stay away from this retailer; they don’t value your business.

Very good experience, good to see that management making efforts to make store look clean and organized. Before that shelves was dirty or having grime on it, bottom of any stuff you pick was having dirt on it or some kind of stuff but recently i visit store at canoga park location on sherman way and topanga cyn, it was a surprise that how they work hard to clean everything and organized it. Also furniture set up is so appealing. Floor is so clean and waxed look shiny compare to before. I can say its a miracle. I hope team will keep it clean and organized on daily basics. I fave 4 stars because it still need some improvement but over all it looks great compare to all times. Waiting time in line is little longer because of short staff i guess, mostly customers came there while they are on there brake time or lunch so they dont want to wait to much. Over all it is improving.

The customer service is terrible at the McKinney, TX store. I called the store and the guy they transferred me to was no help and he didn't try to assist.

If I could leave 0 Stars, I would. Completely awful customer service, inept delivery contractors. Worst purchase experience of my life. I ordered a sofa online April 13. That sofa was available to be delivered to me on May 7. THe delivery company (Ryder) contacted us for a date. When we left a message, they did not call us back. I had to call customer service to get a call back. They finally confirmed delivery for 5/14 but did not show up. When I called Big Lots, they didn't have any understanding of what had happened. They told me I needed to contact Ryder and straighten it out myself. I spoke with someone again on 5/15 who told me the same. So, on 5/17 I contacted Ryder. They didn't know what had happened. One person stopped communicating with me. I was on hold for hours. I have wasted no less than 20 hours of working time on this order. I sent two emails with no response. Ryder told me the furniture is lost. However Big Lots told me the furniture is not lost. Today, Ryder had Big Lots call to tell me that indeed the furniture is lost and it would be another 2-4 weeks before I receive a couch. How does one lose a sofa? It was clearly there, or they would not have scheduled a delivery. I have been disconnected or sent to voicemail multiple times. Furthermore, I have been CHARGED for the item I do not have.
